This is the final part in our 5 part series Plus Size Raw Vegans. I have shared with you various ways that you can measure your progress toward transitioning to a raw lifestyle that doesn’t involve the scale.

Series Thus Far

In the first part of this series we answered the question ‘Are you eating more fruits and vegetables?’. We answered the question ‘Do You exercise More?’ in the second part of the series.  In part three we answered the question ‘Do you drink more water?’ and in part four we answered the question ‘Is Your Thinking More Positive?’.  I will now address our final question ‘Out of 365 days, How Many Were Life Honoring Days?’.

What is Life Honoring?

Life honoring is anything that blesses the life force within you and within others. If you are a vegan you are honoring the life force of your being as well as the beings you choose not to eat and harm.

Every effort you make to release your true self from the cocoon that you have built to protect yourself honors life. When you take care of your body you are honoring that part of your life force.  This is true for the three parts of your whole – Mind, Body, and Soul.

Progress Thus Far

I’ve been on this journey mindfully since the beginning of this year. It hasn’t been a perfect journey and I have stumbled a few times in fact I’ve even fallen off a cliff a time or two. However, when I take a look at the whole of my efforts this year I see a steady [although slow] progress toward my ultimate goal which is to be 80% raw/20% cooked for at least 2 years.

I also have the desire to live my life more fully and completely giving back to the Universe that which it has given me. I measure that progress in one of the five ways I have presented to you within this series.

  1. I eat more fruits and vegetables thus taking better care of the body that I have been given.
  2. I exercise. Having spent nearly 10 years without any real activity this is a giant step toward my goal.
  3. I exchanged soda for water and therefore give my body that which it needs.
  4. I actively feed my mind positive and life affirming thoughts while at the same time acknowledging my ‘uglies’ and allowing myself to mess up without beating myself down.
  5. I honor life by doing all of the above which clears the way for my true self to be released so that more love can grow in this world.

No, You are just living in a fog. Maybe if you lost all your weight you might be able to.

What's your opinion ...

Sure, As long as you are moving toward a 100% raw vegan lifestyle you can.
