I've been gluten and wheat free for 12 years. The diagnosis of wheat and gluten allergy came as a complete surprise to me. It was devastating to learn I could no long eat "real" foods, but had to completely avoid them.
It was through a process of self-education about these allergies and alternative foods that I learned how to cook to completely avoid gluten.
I'm always on the lookout for new recipes, and also work on creating recipes of my own. It's become a hobby!
