Almost all of the problems I've read about are due to poor operation of the device. Read the instructions people!. There is a reason why they printed them in the first place...sheesh.

If the machine is making noises, turn the setting on the power down from full. It will run for almost 12 hours and won't make any noise until it gets very low.
