Flannel PJs for Women

When the nights start to get cooler and the mornings crisp it means two things in my house – reach for my fluffy slippers and pop on my flannel pjs.   I love flannel pajamas because they’re so warm and in the words of my daughter (when she was younger I should hasten to add!) they’re ‘snuggly’.

I have a number of flannel pjs on hand – two different dog prints, a cow print and a cat print pair, most of them were birthday and/or mother’s day presents and so there’s always a story between why a particular patterned pair of pajamas was picked – hubby’s the one to make sure they’re flannel!

I’ve found that my flannel pjs usually last me a couple of winters, after that the warm seems to be going and that works out well as they’re an easy gift idea for my daughter to get me.   Besides after that long I really want a different pattern to wear!

The zebra print design is definitely my favourite out of these animal print pjs – what’s yours?

As I’ve said two of my existing flannel pjs have dogs on them, unfortunately I can’t find either design available online or I would show you them.  

I do like cat’s but I haven’t owned one in a decade, however my daughter went through a stage where she decided that she really, really wanted a cat.   Of course this happened to be at the same time that her ‘bestest friend in the whole wide world’ had just got a kitten.   When the friendship suddenly ended and she had a new BFF the notion of getting a cat seemed to fade away as well!

My cat pajamas were given to me while she still wanted a cat – subliminal messaging perhaps?

I love the idea of getting some cupcake pajamas next as I think they have some really cute cupcake pjs available to buy.   I don’t think it would make me feel hungry wearing them, but I’d definitely be looking very delicious!

I’ve only seen cupcake pajamas in a pink background in our local shops, but online you can find them in pink or blue.   Knowing my daughter she’ll be getting me pink again, but who cares when they’re cupcakes!
