I only feel like I should mention him, because that's where my parents got my name. He was one of the creators of the show Laugh-In. My mom and dad never missed a show when they were teenagers. He became one of their heroes. Even today they'll start in on one of their Laugh-In routines. If I'm lucky it's not in public.

Digby, that was a crazy show -- so innovative for its time. I never made the name connection before. At first, I thought you were talking about a relative. Still, it's always a little sad when someone passes away. I'll bet your parents will act out the show even more in the next few weeks. Little poems in little books: Pocket Poems

I remember watching that show every week. Paula Atwell (aka lakeerieartists) is the owner of a local Cleveland art gallery, Lake Erie Artists Gallery.

I watched that show every week without fail. I remember my parents sat right there and tried to pretend they weren't amused--but we caught 'em laughing a lot. I didn't know the name of the creaters, my bad. |
