Welcome back! This is great news. You are an amazing writer and you've been so kind to those of us who are just starting out here, or were just starting out here a few short months ago. I look forward to reading your brand new articles.

Thanks All, OMG guess what?  My youngest has been feeling really under the weather, nothing keeps her down, but she's had this sort of bug that she can't shake.... I've taken her to the doctor 3 times only to hear it must be something viral. This last visit was yesterday, because her throat was beginning to swell!  The doctor ran blood test once again. I just got a call her blood test came back positive for MONO Oh NO!  My poor baby has mono. I had heard there were a few cases of it at her school but no one she knows, she's just 15 and the doctor told us she has to stop all extra curricular activities and sports because her spline will enlarge and be subject to something bad, I forget, still processing Surprised Cry

Ugh, poor kiddo. My friend went through it and she was really down and lethargic for ages. It's a type of glandular fever, isn't it? So it will have that energy-sapping feel about it.

Described by one of my clients as 'a literary grammarian', writing, researching and reading are requirements for sanity, at least this side of the keyboard.

WC, I don't know for sure exactly but yea, I'm still wrapping my brain around it. My concert daughter has been touring the competition circuit and having a very good year so we have been traveling a lot running ourselves down so yes the youngest is tired which is unlike her, this was the RED flag that started it all.

Her doctor said she would need schedule relief when she returns to school for some months, meaning she would not release her to go back to school full days for some time but half days and or every other day, two or three days a week.

It sounds like a wild ride

I've been gone too, Katie, but I come over everyday to snoop around and see what's going on. I find it so difficult to tend to more than one website at a time. Welcome back even if I didn't realize you were gone.

I know mono is supposed to take a long time. Hope she'll be able to enjoy some books and movies while it lasts.

Mike, Thanks, Me too!

Brenda, I know what you mean I found it harder to work here because I had become close to so many of you here it proved to be harder because you all know me so well and WELL sometimes it's best to fade into the background and focus on anything but your troubles working somewhere where folks don't KNOW!!!  I've been working on new projects and it''s proved to clear my head.

Abby, Thanks I always hope to be nothing more Smile

Mira, Embarassed She is one to go 100 miles an hour a very dynamic young lady. But she's been hanging close to MOM and we are enjoying our downtime. She can be near me while I work, on the couch, in bed.. just about anywhere Great Bonus!

BUT I can't forget about Wizzley.  Time to focus on a new wave of work. SO whats shaking here?  What projects should I be pointed at????

Hi Katie...I thought you had left us to become a famous playwright.  Cool

Good to hear from you again, and hope your daughter recovers quicker than anyone expects from her bout of mono.

Welcome back - I've been concentrating on other projects also, but keep an irregular eye on the forum. It's quite difficult, and my regular eye gets jealous, but hey, it will have to put up with it.

Sorry to hear that your daughter is suffering from something I had never heard of. From what others are saying it sounds something like 'Yuppie flu'. But hey what do I know?!

Look forward to reading your musings.
