Question about links

I'm writing an article on Gloria Vanderbilt jeans which are sold on Amazon, but when I use the link provided and put in the tags I don't get GV jeans. I don't get any jeans. I get other unrelated products instead.

If I build my own links to the page on Amazon, will I still get paid if someone clicks it on and buys?

From the Amazon Help Section.
Third-party items are defined as any product sold by a third-party seller on our site, as long as it is not an Auctions or zShops item. Products sold by third parties through sites linked to from our site, e.g., Shutterfly.com, are also excluded.

They might be excluded in some way. Probably best to ask this sort of question on the Amazon forum. They are very helpful and aware of all the Amazon policy changes as they occur.

What do you mean by "tags", Brenda?

In our Amazon module choose the tab "Enter product numbers (ASIN/ISBN)". There you enter the ASIN from your desired product page on Amazon.com. For example: B000NZYP0I  (a pair of GV Jeans)

Click "Add" and it will bring up your GV Jeans ad. Then save the module.

Did I misunderstand your question?

Thanks Chef. You gave me an alternative way to do it. I had been putting keywords directly in the module and the product with number comes up. So now I know their are two ways to do this, and I can get any product I want off of Amazon.

Sorry Brenda, I misunderstood your problem. I've had problems with some brands because they were sold by third-parties. Nearly drove myself crazy.
