I've written and published an article 24 hours ago, in this 24 hours it has got 3 unique visitors with 31 impressions. My question is how the two are related and what's the difference?

Page Impressions are normally related to advertisements. For example: You place three banners on your webpage and one person sees this banner 3 times. Therefore, this banner gets 9 impressions.
Page Views are normally related to users and browsers. You may see you have larger page impressions than actual visits.
Maybe someone can explain it better...but hope this helps some. |

Here's the reason: Wizzley counts all impressions, even your own. Admin looked at your site a few times because of some minor issues. Then you reopened it a few times to make corrections. That's where all the impressions come from. Just for the record, Aphrodite: Public domain pics from Clckr or http://pixabay.com do not require the attribution link. I only asked you about the source, because I didn't know where they came from, and I wanted to make sure that you have the distribution rights for your images. :) WW - the number of ads does not play a role in this matter. So Wizzley counts our own visits to our own pages in the page impressions, but does it count us in the visitor count to our own pages? Carma aka tandemonimom

tandemonimom: 10. Jun 2011, 13:25 Wizzley registers your IP address and then counts you only once per day as a unique visitor. Achim "Chef Keem" Thiemermann is the co-founder of a pretty cool new platform called...um...er...oh, yeah - Wizzley.com.
