Summer Scavenger Hunt

Why not arrange a fun summer scavenger hunt for the kids. It doesn't need too much preparation because you can arrange it to take place in the sandbox!

Firstly, you will want to take everything out of the sand. Then let them take turns to hide small toys or other little readily available small but safe items for the other kids to find.

Make it into a little competition for them and add some excitement, by timing how long it takes them to recover all the items. Of course you will want to give the winner a prize and perhaps all the kids get a small consolation prize as well!

Our grandchildren enjoy bicycling, baseball and basketball and of course, water guns and other water toys. I like that scavenger hunt. Would be fun at the beach!
