Heather's Tummy Teas

by pkmcr

Do you suffer from IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) and are fed up of the uncomfortable symptoms? Heather's Tummy Teas have made such a difference for me and you should try them!

It was a chance conversation on Facebook about my problems with IBS (Irritable Bowel Syndrome) that first led me to discover Heather's Tummy Teas.

I had been commenting on how challenging it was to deal with at times when a friend from America asked me whether I had ever tried these teas.

I have been suffering with IBS for many years now and whilst I have eliminated Wheat and Gluten from my diet and take care with other foods I still have to deal with the symptoms.

As people who suffer with it will tell you IBS affects different people in different ways. Without going into too many details you will find that frequent visits to the loo, stomach bloating, uncomfortable and embarrassing wind, aches, stomach cramps and constipation are some of the symptoms that IBS sufferers have to deal with.

I can certainly empathise with some of those symptoms!

Heather's Tummy Teas Review

Why Do Heather's Tummy Teas Work?

So having heard about Heather's Tummy Teas completely by accident from my friend I thought I would do a bit of research to see what they were all about. It turns out that these are created from herbs, which shouldn't really be surprising since so many modern drugs are based on herbs also. In this case the herbs are fennel and peppermint, both of which have a sweet taste combined with a slight bitterness.

Then I took a look at some of the reviews by people who have used them and they were almost 100% complimentary. I will mention some in a moment. Suffice it to say that there are some dramatic reports.

All the reports state that Heather's Tummy Teas are safe and that they have no side effects since they are based on natural herbs. They are organic and naturally free from caffeine. Not only that but as I was to discover the taste is quite pleasant also.

You simply need to brew one of the tea bags with a cup of boiling water and let steep for 5 to 10 minutes. It seems that the stronger the brew is the better the effects and on average I let them steep for about 7 - 8 minutes on average but it really depends on how my symptoms are at the time.

You can buy the tea bags, which is what I tend to do, or you can buy loose tea and you will find that a pound of the tea (which I have bought in bulk) lasts a good couple of months.

So What Do Others Say About Heather's Tummy Teas?

One lady who had been suffering from a stomach so bloated for two years that she looked like she was "ready to deliver any minute". She had had tests, scans and even had her gall bladder removed, since that was what everyone thought must be the problem, to no effect. Finding Heather's Tummy Teas she was very skeptical but ordered them anyway, just in case. I am going to quote her verbatim here.

"It arrived this morning. By the time i finished the first cup 70% of the bloating was gone, taking the pressure and the pain with it. A couple of hours later I am practically 'normal'. Right now I am thinking it is magical".

Another user said that he had been suffering from IBS for a while and that this was the only thing that worked for him when he was having cramps.

Still another user said that her cramps had gone away in about two days, she felt less hungry and overall better. She now drinks a cup before each meal and has had absolutely no side effects.

So it would seem that I am not alone. If you suffer from IBS in whatever form then Heather's Tummy Teas are definitely worth trying.

Are They Available In The UK?

Having heard about them from an American friend and done my research the next question was of course are Heather's Tummy Teas available in the UK?

Fortunately they are!  So I immediately placed an order at amazon.co.uk and they arrived within three days.

I tried one soon after they arrived and at first the taste took a little getting used to as it wasn't something that I had experienced before.

However, I now drink them on a regular basis and they have made such a difference.  Some people prefer to drink them before they eat but for me I have found that I enjoy them more after a meal.  One of the side benefits is that I now seem to be able to enjoy a cup of coffee more often which is a real benefits as I also love my coffee.

So if you suffer with Irritable Bowel Syndrome (IBS) and are looking for something that will help you manage the symptoms then I can definitely recommend that you try:

I came here to do something else, but saw your post and had to read it! I have IBS, and I sell (or well used to sell) some of the Heather's products where I work. They are amazing, so when my boss let me know that we weren't going to be carrying them anymore (for various reasons) I did a lot of research into them. I now know a lot of alternative products for a lot of Heather's products that are the exact same thing, that we still carry in my store. I think it's important to know what alternatives would actually work, because these products really do make a difference for people with IBS!

One of the things on my list for managing symptoms, apart from a soluble easy to digest fiber (like acacia, which is what the Heather's fibers are), are high count probiotics, as well.

But, I wasn't aware that they even had teas, or that they might work so well. It might be a good recommendation for people coming into the store asking for help. I'll have to check it out. Thank you for the post!

Herbal teas can be used for so many ailments. It's better to try a tea before resorting to medications, as you can be pleasantly surprised at how well they can work.

@Thamisgith yes I must admit I was delighted to find that they were available in the UK and can definitely recommend them as they have made such a difference for me.
