I loved horses when I was a kid and as I aged the love only increased. As a kid I had all my walls full of horse posters and shelves stuffed with horse toys. I remember one of my letters to Santa, asking for a pony (as many kids do), sadly enough Santa did not comply to my wishes but I did get horse bedding. There were two brown meres on a green meadow and I instantly feel in love with it. Although it is very washed out I still have the bedding today. Sleeping in them made me feel so free.

Horse Wall Decals
Decorate your walls with some horses, it will bring some spirit to the room. You can make them yourself fairly easily. Find an image you like (it is best that the image is simple, with little detail).
Take the image to the photocopier and have it enlarged to the desired size (it is OK if it is on more than one paper). Make a few copies.
Take one copy (if it is on more than one paper glue them together with a duct tape) and cut out the whole shape.

Stick (use the duck tape again) the shape on the spot on the wall where you want your decal to be. Take a soft pencil (as soft as possible) and draw a line around the cut-out. You have your basic shape done!
To draw the details just cut them out from your photocopied horse place them on the wall (inside the drawn shape and where they should be) and draw a line with the pencil.
When you are done and have all the details you wish take the colors (acrylic, tempera...) and just color it like you would a coloring page.

Horse Photography Pictures
What better way to decorate the room that to fill it with horse photos? Plan a trip to the countryside and take your camera with you.
If you are doing this themed bedroom for your kid let him or her take all the pictures, it will make them feel good. Take as many pictures as you can and above all enjoy the day spent with this magnificent animal.
Select the best photos and either print them out and frame them or take them to the photo studio and have large canvas pictures made from it. This will make an unique decoration for the room.
