Lego Games Are Fun

Lego Games are lots of fun and there are so many to choose from they’re ideal for Christmas presents, birthday presents or even just a ‘you’re doing great’ gift.

Before the fun of the game can begin you have to build your own board game including the dice – this mean the fun starts for at least one lucky person before the game actually begins. I have found that leaving the children or child to build the game gives you a chance to grab snacks and drinks and get that side of things organized before –

Harry Potter Hogwarts Lego Game

This is the game that my middle niece has on her Christmas list, but what’s it like as an actual game? According to Lego Game reviewers this set is one of the most interesting boards which I think sounds like a promising start. The game features 332 Lego pieces including a buildable Lego dice and 9 Lego Minifigures. Designed for 2-4 players the game also comes with a rule book and building instructions.

That’s the boring details out of the way, now onto the actual game. The object of the game is to collect four items from four classrooms and return to their common room which sounds pretty simple in theory doesn’t it?

In reality no one game of Harry Potter Hogwarts Lego game is the same as another because the game board is fully customizable. This allows your children to combine their imagination with problem solving skills and rearrange the rooms to throw the other players off.

I think that this Lego game sounds the best out of all of them and the fact that it’s Harry Potter as well as Lego just makes it even better!

Ninjago Lego Game

Ninjago has really taken the Lego world by storm this year so it’s hardly a surprise that they would also be included in the Lego games range. In this Lego Ninjago Game the Skeleton General and his warriors have invaded the Ninja fortress and you have to stop them from taking over.

There are 234 pieces in this set including 10 minifigures and an instruction booklet, but as with all of the Lego games the rules can be changed!

Not only is there a dice (that you build) with this game there is also a spinner and a rope which my daughter thought was pretty cool. The dice allows you to move around the board – the rope let’s you swing to the guardhouses and when you come face to face with a guard you use your spinner to see if you defeat him or not.

All in all this is a great game that also involves your children working together instead of against each other which makes for a very pleasant change from most board games and less arguments and accusations of cheating.
