There are three instruction books with this Lego Daigon Alley set which are really easy to follow. A great aspect of this particular set is that the pieces for the three buildings are all in seperate bags which makes it easier for creating the individual buildings one at a time.

Ollivanders Wand Shop

Featured in the Lego Daigon Alley Set

Ollivanders Wand Shop is very representative of the shop from the Harry Potter movies and measures 8" (20 cm) high and 5" (13cm) wide when completed. Like in the movie this is a two storey building in the gorgeous nineteenth century colors of green, tan, blue and black.

Inside the building you have a ladder to reach the top shelf, an exploding desk and shelves of wands - although the wands are actually decals not wands that can be used by Lego minifigures which is a pity.

Borgin and Burkes Dark Arts Shop

Borgin and Burkes is a beautiful looking building created in gray, black and green, but the inside is a little disappointing.

The vanishing cabinet is included inside the shop, but it could have done with a few more 'dark arts' type of accessories to really bring it together. Placing the skeleton in the window does help to give it some atmosphere however.

The completed Dark Arts shop measures 8" (20 cm) high and 7" (18 cm) wide.

Just look at the white and gold building, even if you haven't seen Harry Potter you would just know it was a bank - wouldn't you? This Wizards Bank includes a vault like all good banks do and a desk, 'wonky' support columns and, of course, the Philosopher's Stone.

This building measures 8" (20 cm) high and 4" (10 cm) wide when closed, but it can also be opened up allowing for playability which is always a great idea. When open the width becomes 9" (23 cm).
