What Are Monster HIgh Dolls?

Monster High Dolls were released in 2007 and are the creation of Garrett Sander. Each doll is birght colourful and funky, and has a unique story - they are all the sons and daughters of famous popular science fiction and horror movie characters like Dracula, Frankenstein and Elvira. The younger generation of ghouls and monsters all go to the same high school, Monster High, where they go to classes, take tests and of course socialize with their friends and enemies. Each doll comes with wild hairstyles, unique fashion forward outfits, quirky accessories and their own personal storyline. These original concept dolls are the hottest new trend with teens and pre-teens.

Popular Models

Popular Models of these unique dolls include Draculaura, the daughter of Dracula. Draculaura goes beyond the typical 'pretty princess doll model'. As the daughter of Dracula, she is part vampire, as can be seen by her pale skin, pointy fangs and long black hair. She's one of the most popular ghouls in the schoolyard, and manages to pull off loads of style and class without being too girly. She has articulated joints for easy movement, trendy outfits and fashion accessories and an adorable yet creepy pet bat. Like most Monster High Dolls, she also comes with her own personal diary, a hair brush for her long black hair, and a doll stand so she can be set on display in any room.

Clawdeen Wolf is the daughter of the Werewolf, and she is a must add for any Monster High doll collection. She is fierce, fashionable, and doesn't take nonsense from anyone. Her wild animal print outfit, stylish belt and chunky ring make her stand out amongst the crowd. She comes with a purse, school binder and of course a doll stand for putting this fashionista on display.

Holt Hyde is the son of the infamous Mr. and Mrs. Hyde, and loves music, which would make him one of the most popular students at Monster High, except for his unpredictable temper. He comes with flaming orange hair, headphones to listen to his music, stylish pinstriped blue pants, and a cute pet chameleon. Once particularly hard to find, Holt Hyde is available through Amazon, and is one of just a few male Monster Doll characters.

Another super cool male student at Monster High, Deuce Gorgon is the son of Medusa, as can be seen in his snake-like hair. He likes to wear laid back skate-style clothing, and always his signature sunglasses in order to prevent turning his friends and classmates into stone. He also comes with a two-tailed pet rat named Perseus. The Dawn of the Dance model even comes with a Monster High DVD episode to watch at home.

Monster High Dolls are all the rage now with adults, teenagers and kids alike. They go beyond the typical 'Barbie and Ken' doll mode and have unique story lines and character personalities that are fun, funky, and avante garde. Dolls can be purchased individually or in sets, making it easy to amp up any collection.
