Moose Hat Or Moose Slippers - Which Is Manlier?

by chefkeem

Women love men with crazy moose hats or fuzzy moose slippers. Find out why, where to get the manliest antler hats, and how it all started with Adam and Eve...

A very long time ago, Adam said to Eve: "Check it out, girl!" And ever since then, men have tried to impress women...with a clear goal in mind, of course. That's good, because otherwise we wouldn't be here today.

Adam didn't have a moose antler hat. No moose in Eden. Paradise was somewhere South, I'm sure. But there were tropical birds in colorful regalia, flamboyant monkeys, and gorgeous flowers. And two pinkish bodies. One of them a man.

Why women love moose hats on men

It's a psychological thing, you know...
  • Men are born with a need to show off and be stronger, smarter, and better looking than their rivals. (Real or imagined.)
  • Woman have a tendency of being attracted to power. (Real or imagined.)

So, Adam disappeared in the woods for a couple of days. And when he returned, he wore the most amazing head gear the world had ever seen. (Not a huge deal, considering the world's age.)

However, Eve fainted. Briefly. (Why, exactly, is anybody's guess.)

After Adam had revived her with a gentle kiss, she said, "Wow, snuggums - you, like, are the apple of my eye!" And she handed him a piece of produce.

Over the centuries, the apple job may have morphed into something a little less damaging. But to this day, women adore a man who is manly enough to stick out from the crowd. And since paradise has faded away a long time ago--and who has time anyway for 2-day jungle trips--the manliest men of today utilize a different kind of "Amazon". You know what I'm talking about...

Moose Hat Case Study

providing scientific proof

The picture on the left speaks volumes. Or at least more than a thousand words. I know this man, and he has not much going for himself:

  • slightly over-weight
  • bad eye sight
  • nothing to wear
  • lives in a bubble
  • permanent pout

Still, as a female, I'm sure you'll agree with me:

Not too bad. (It's the hat.)

Even the most hopeless cases can be saved!

Say yes to moose hats, fellow sufferers!

Moose slippers make my knees buckle...

Slippers for sure! But what, if anything..., would go below the hat and above the slippers?

katiem2 on 05/18/2012

I choose the slippers, add those to your dance moves and you got it so going on!

mivvy on 08/22/2011

Perfect for big male feet

petunia on 07/07/2011

The picture of you in the moose hat is one of my favorite pictures! However, the slippers look softer for cuddle time!

theherbivorehippie on 07/06/2011

I'm going with the slippers!

sheilamarie on 07/03/2011

This is a really hard choice. I was going to say the hat because, I don't know, it's so regal. But then I got to thinking about my cold feet and realized if I saw a dude in those fuzzy slippers, well, I'd just want to play footsie with him. So I'm going with the slippers -- no the hat -- no the slippers.

nightbear on 07/01/2011

I don't care for the distraction on the head, I really think the fuzzy feet would set my feet to tapping.

mbgphoto on 07/01/2011

I think I'd have to vote the way of the slippers...there is just something about furry feet :)

Moose slippers make the man, I always say!

Moose hats get me dreaming...

Nothing like sticking out from the crowd!

tandemonimom on 07/08/2011

Any man brave enough to wear that hat is brave enough.

nightowl on 07/02/2011

Nothing signals manly prowess like a pair of moose antlers. Wanna view my collection of trophy bucks?

Every time I glance at this picture, I swoon.

I notice what is on a man's head first...so the hat does it for me!

Moose slippers are not for fake macho guys

A crazy funny hat is in social circles much more acceptable than fuzzy slippers. It takes a man of courage to show off his animal foot wear in public.

Wouldn't you like to find out if your man has the stuff real men are made of?

Perhaps you should start inside the house first...

And if you want to support your hero...

Nothing says "you're the manliest man in the whole, wide world" better than a pink flamingo beak nestled somewhere in a moose rack.

And before you know it, you'll get adventurous and switch slippers...

Another marriage saved. Natch.

chefkeem, Last week or the week before, I read about the fetching moose hat and slippers. I voted the article up but wrote no comment since the last comments were from 2012. But I really would like to know what would be worn between the hat and the slippers!

chefkeem on 08/25/2012

Moose cow (and moose bull). But she ain't got no rack. (At least, not on her head.)

Ragtimelil on 08/25/2012

What is a lady moose called?

chefkeem on 08/25/2012

Not cow, Lana - moose! Unless you talk about me. But then you should say 'ox'.

Ragtimelil on 08/25/2012

How did I miss this one? Holey cow!

katiem2 on 05/18/2012

Thrilled to learn more about your sense of humor. You're funny and can cook the total package, you go chef. I choose the slippers they would accent your dance moves fabulously.

Angel on 02/13/2012

OMG. You look like Benny Hill in that moose hat! Brings back memories of watching him at night when I was a kid. You are so funny. I love your website too. I laughed for an hour. I needed it..

Margaret on 08/29/2011

Aside from your macaroons, your humor is the biggest thing I love about you! I think you're FAB in that outfit, and I look forward to seeing more of it!

chefkeem on 08/26/2011

You know, Robin...I wish it was only a part of my brain. Unfortunately, my entire mind is like that. Oh, well... :)

I love this page - and even more, I love trying to envision where on earth this page idea came from (which part of the brain). It is hilarious, from start to finish...and...um...DEFINITELY unique! Loved it...now to get Jim some moose gear...will let him decide which.
