Motion Clocks

One of my grandmothers had a love for fine clocks. Our childhood home was adorned with a banjo clock, a cuckoo clock, and several mantel clocks, all of which struck the hour in tandem. I was convinced they were calling her name as they went off and was comforted with their chimes in the wee hours of the night. 

The clocks on this page are mostly (with the possible exception of the eBay offerings) digital versions of clocks that chime and entertain with their movements. They won't need to be wound the way my grandmother's clocks did and will probably keep more accurate time, too. You can program them not to chime through the night time hours, so they won't keep you awake. Most of them come with batteries included.
