Pandora Charms

Pandora charms are used to make unique pieces of beautiful jewelry which people around the world are falling in love with.

Pandora Beads

I love Pandora Beads although I’m fairly new to their charms.   I’ve known about Pandora beads or Pandora charms for a while and have seen them for sale, but it wasn’t until Christmas 2011 that I really looked at them.

My daughter was given a snake chain necklace with a single turquoise Pandora charm on it as a gift from one of her friends.   It looked really nice and was definitely not a look I thought of using Pandora beads to create.

When we came back home from a Christmas overseas we went shopping to spend some of my dd’s Christmas money on more Pandora charms.   We went at the right place as one of the retailers was selling a number of charms on a bracelet at a sale price.   My daughter was looking through all of the charms and picking out some and I started looking too.   Well my hubby knew what it meant as I was starting to pick up some of the charms and the next thing you knew I was getting a Pandora bracelet as well!!

I love the color purple so I picked purple hues, silver and black beads which all went well together.   My daughter had been going to get blues to match her existing Pandora bead, but decided to go with a purple theme as well – so much for being able to swap bracelets with each other!   She went with purple and pink hues for her bracelet though.

DD also brought a few single Pandora charms that she liked which she continues to wear on their own as a pendant.

When I got home I checked online to see how much Pandora beads were and I was pleasantly surprised as well as discovering what a large range of Pandora charms are available.   There are also a number of non-Pandora charms which fit Pandora bracelets as well and personally I don’t think there’s a lot of difference in using the genuine ones as using any others.

Some of the beautiful beads I found were lampwork beads that have been handmade in various colors and most of them are the right size to fit the Pandora charms.   These gorgeous beads are definitely an investment in my mind.   If you’re not sure what I mean by lampwork beads they are glass beads that have been made by hand with a torch and molten glass.   Click on the link if you need convincing as they really are gorgeous.

There are just so many different styles and colors available that I’m surprised it’s taken me so long to ‘discover’ Pandora and I’m sure I’ll be purchasing many more beads in the coming months.   One of the things my daughter finds fun is being able to change her Pandora charms around to create a totally different look.   This is one of the reasons that I made sure to get a couple of black beads and some silver beads so that I could incorporate them with different colors as my collection expanded.

Do You Have Any Pandora Charms?

If you do let me know what colors you own in the comments.   I’m trying to decide between blue shades or green shades when I buy my next few – decisions, decisions!
