This second dress has a more formal look. This is the dress that Merida's mother would prefer she wear. Pretty, and polished Merida sports this dress in the movie Brave in the scene where she competes for her own hand. Of course, Disney Princess Merida does add air conditioning to the dress and makes it more suitable for showcasing her archery skills.
This Princess Merida costume dress look picture perfect in blue and gold. Dress is long sleeved and has golden accents on the collar, belt and bottom of the dress. There is a cute cameo of Merida in the center of the collar that your little princess will adore.
The accessory I am most excited about for the Merida Costume is the Merida Archery Set that can be purchased. Usually Disney Princesses accessories are just tiaras, shoes and scepters but this addition of archery set lets little girls have more active fun.
You can get all these add-ons with the Merida Costume too - but really what sounds more fun for a child to play with an archery set or a tiara? I vote for the bow and arrows.
Yes. Merida wears a tiara. She is after all a princess, but she prefers to be running free in the highlands of Scotland without the tiara.
For a formal Princess Merida costume the tiara is a nice touch and does compliment the formal costume wear.

One of Merida's characteristics to emulate in any Merida Costume is her red wild curly hair. You can curl it and spray it red to get the look or take the easy approach by buying the red wig Merida Wig.
The wig is child sized red with spiral curls. It is easy to put on and to pull off.
These Gladiator shoes are adorable and a great accessory to any of the Merida costume dresses.
