First steps - create a page

Step 1: Create a new page

To create a new page, you must be logged in. If you do not have a member account, please sign up for free . Then click on the button create page.

Choose a descriptive page title
Summarize your article in 1-2 sentences
Select an appropriate topic so readers can find your page more easily.
Klick on "Here we go", to add content to your article.


Step 2: The page editor

In edit mode you may create content by using a variety of modules. On the left are the building blocks as they will later be seen on the page. In the right sidebar you will find tools to design the layout of your page.

Draft means that the page was not published yet and that only you can see it.

Preview and publish page
Edit page title, description, etc.
The first text module: Click on Edit to enter your text.
A page is made ​​up of different modules that can be individually added, edited or deleted.

Click on images to add a picture module.
Newly added picture module.
In the comments box you will receive feedback from your readers.

Comments may be activated or deactivated. Optionally, you'll be notified by e-mail of new comments.
Mouse-drag the modules into the desired position.
The thumbnail is a small gallery image that appears next to the page title.
Choose a suitable background


Step 3: Edit modules

In the text module, click Edit:

The text module editor allows the creation and editing of texts, just like in MS Word. Formatted text can be copied directly into the editor. Invalid elements are removed automatically. However, check for unwanted spaces (or the lack thereof).
Save or discard modifications


Step 4: Determine the layout

Each module can be moved, re-sized, edited and deleted using the tool buttons in the navigation bar:

  Move module down

  Move module up

  Re-size module to full or half page width

The following buttons work only in half page width

  Place module to the right of the following module

  Place module to the left of the following module

The double-arrow re-sized both modules to half page width


Step 5: Add images

Click edit in the new picture module:

Determine image size and other details for your pictures.
Add a title for your image and then select an image file on your computer. Click Add to upload the file.
You may use several images per module; change the order by dragging them with your mouse.
Save or discard modifications


Step 6: Publish page

Preview page or publish it immediately.

In your member account, you will find a list of all your articles and drafts. Here you can manage them and access your visitor stats, rankings, and comments.
