Hillary Clinton is one of those successful women that we all are aware of. She possesses the title of a successful woman, but also a powerful woman. Not everyone can be both, but Hillary Clinton is. No, I do not follow her every move, and no I am sure that I do not admire all of her tactics, but I do admire her. Yes, I have read and heard some things that do not seem to be what we would call the most conservative way to live as a successful women, but how do I know what is true and what isn’t? She was a conservative before she became a liberal, just in case you did not know that. So those flaws (if they exist) we are not going to talk about; only the success.
Forbes has listed her at the #16 most powerful people and #2 most powerful women. She is powerful simply because she makes her own rules. She did not ask anyone if she should let her hair grow down to her shoulders…not criticizing Hillary, but some of us think the shorter hair made you look much younger. Nevertheless, you go girl!!!!
Being powerful isn’t all about the money she has made or the money her husband, Bill Clinton has made making his famous speeches since they left the Whitehouse. Since becoming Secretary of State; Hillary Clinton has not only handled difficult situations within the government, including the Wiki leaks’ material, murder of a foreign Ambassador, and the assassination of bin Laden, just to name a very few. One of the most important and well known attributes is how she handled her husband’s infidelity. Let’s just say that she used her best protocol and kept her head high, shoulders back, and if she was gritting her teeth; no one knew.
Hillary Clinton, Secretary of State; has worked and worked hard and it proves that you do not have to be 30, 40 or 50 to be successful and show your brilliance; because last October 26th she became 64 years old. Yes, this is contrary to what we see in the rest of the working world (for the most part), but there are still some ladies who have been given their full potential of working as long as they desire. This is taking full advantage of the possibilities of being a successful woman.
Hillary Clinton has self confidence, and doesn’t let many things disturb her. Hillary has raked in a bunch of money already for her book and I am sure there will be more when she decides to just make speeches and write, like her husband. Well, yes she teared up on the campaign trail while running for the presidential nomination in 2008. But, who would not after working so hard and seeing all your efforts go down the drain because some first term Senator from the city you grew up in; knew how to make a speech.
One of Hillary Clinton's most unique accomplishments was becoming a NY Senator as she had lived in Washington, DC for eight years and was not a full time resident of NY. She is the only American first lady that has held a national office. She is an attorney, has been the first lady, a senator, and now serves her country as Secretary of State. Hillary Clinton could teach all of us some points to becoming a successful woman.
Question: Do you think Hillary Clinton will ever be President of the United States of America? This would definitely become one of those well thought out ambitions to be the most powerful and successful women in the world. Hillary Clinton is almost there already.
