How had I not heard about this? I love Disney Tangled and now there is a sequel!

What prodigious news!

Tangled Ever After was released early this year and shown in theatres in the US just before the special 3D Edition of Beauty and the Beast. It is all about the wedding day of Rapunzel and Flynn Rider and unfortunately, it only lasts about 6 minutes or so!

Why?!

Anyone who watched the first Tangled was left with the feeling that we would like to see what happens next so here we get a short version of Rapunzel and Flynn’s Happily Ever After.

Tangled Ever After Movie

Tangled Ever After is a six minute film detailing the wedding day of Rapunzel and Flynn and what happened to the rings!  Maximus and Pascal play a very large part in this as they are involved greatly in getting the rings to the wedding in time for the final ‘I do’.  There are a few clips of the movie on IMDb and they are pretty entertaining.

Unfortunately, this Tangled Ever After short film does not seem to have been released in the UK yet.

Rapunzel in the movie is wearing a great white glimmer-y dress with the longest train ever (maybe an exaggeration!).  She looked heavenly as she takes her father’s arm and walks down the aisle.  Flynn does not look too bad either.  It is all romantic until the horse gets the leaf stuck in places it should not be – Do not worry, watch the short film and see what I mean.  It really is hilarious.

Tangled Ever After Wedding Doll

Here she is, looking lovely in her wedding dress though her hair is back to its blonde greatness.  I really do love her perfectly cut brown hair (if you watched the first one, you would notice just how perfectly dying Flynn managed to cut her hair with a jagged shard of glass!).

She has flowers all the way down her hair and she really does look beautiful.

You might prefer to get the set of both Rapunzel and Flynn at the wedding, here it is.  A great collection of the both dolls - ready for role plays with your children as they play act the scenes from the movie.

These dolls are commissioned by the Disney Store so the quality is pretty good.  The faces of both the dolls look a lot more realistic and the clothes are very similar to the ones in the movie.

The real deal!

This is a collection doll commissioned again by the Disney Store.  

She is a brunette in this one so definitely a better representative of Rapunzel as she is when she comes to get married.

This is probably more appropriate for a doll collector or an older daughter.  It is a charming member of the Disney Princess Collection and comes in at 17inches.  

We all keep wishing for the equivalent Flynn Rider.
