Vtech Pour and Float Froggy

by paperfacets

The electronic baby bath toy for 9 months and above is called Pour and Float Froggy. This frog does everything but ribbit. Lights, music, water fountains. Battery saver built in.

Vtech's bath toy is 12 inches long, floats on top of the water for easy play and engagement. Three colorful stacking cups from the stomach can be used to pour water, activating a fountain of squirts. A flower lights and teaches numbers with music and fun sayings. So far, the parents are liking it, according to Amazon reviews.

Engage baby with conversation and play while having their bath or playing in the wading pool.

This bath toy will even shut off when its sensor detects it is out of the water. 3AA batteries are required.

I recently gave this toy to my one year old grand nephew. His Mom has said that both Mom and baby love this play toy when it is bath time. The music is fun and baby is delighted with the fountain of water.

On this page explore three options for buying the toy. Click the picture at right to go to the Vtech website, but if Amazon or Ebay is preferred those links are below.

Vtech Has Been Around for Decades

The Vtech company has decades behind them of making children games. That is a plus for toy buyers.

One toy I bought, that was widely available from a different company, stopped being manufactured and the PDF for the electronic game is no longer available. The company was totally gone from the Internet. Many owners are trying to get the instructions and it was no longer searchable. What a disappointment to not be able to use the unit to its fullest.

V-tech's website is thorough and helpful for the new parent. A Resource Center has six childhood experts contributing to the readability of the Center. Browse their bio's and expert articles on parenting, child psychology, language, math, reading and STEM.

For example, Dr.Lise Eliot's current article dated Aug. 19th, focuses on balancing physical play and new modern day electronic play. Even though, she works with a tech company, she talks about the importance of social interactions being the most important learning moments for children. Avoid over doing the alone time spend with tech devices and toys.

All the articles are very thought provoking without overloading the reader with academic terms.

Derdriu,
I have been following a toy that is no longer made. I imagine the only way to get parts is to hope ebay would have the toy listed.

paperfacets, Frogs are so relatable for children's learning fun!
I always wonder what happens to the inventory of companies that go out of business or stop producing a product line. Everything simply cannot be all destroyed so there must be a way of accessing all those parts and products.

This looks like a fun bath toy. Since Vtech has been around for a while, with a trusted reputation, it' looks like a wise choice. The advice you cite from Dr.Lise Eliot is sound, and should be heeded by all parents today.
