My name is Kimberley Dawn Bissonette (KDB). You can find me in a google search as KDB, KD Bissonette, FatCatMomma or Kimber Ley among other names and I am on a journey to WRITE, WRITE, WRITE and GROW better at it every day. I began writing poetry back in high school but never shared my poetry with anyone other than my family and close friends until 2007. Since then I have begun writing MUCH more. I'll share many pages where you can read my poetry and other writings and blog posts as well. I hope you will enjoy my point of view.

Who Am I?
KD Bissonette
I am Kimberley Dawn Bissonette but all my family and friends know me as Dawn.
I have been writing poetry since I was around 13 or 14 and in high school but only started sharing in 2007. Believe it or not I didn't really know that I was a poet.
It used to be only sad emotions that I expressed through poetry but, later in life I found more joys than sorrows and have since learned to share other things as well.
NOW, I KNOW I am a poet and I am not afraid to share my voice and point of view.
It's mine and equally as valid as anyone else's.
I am a happily married mom of 3 and I enjoy meeting people online all over the world. I've been married to my soulmate for 14 years and we've shared ebbs and flows and only grown stronger together.
I am writing in various blogs, poetry sites and other spots to try to improve my voice and talent.
As of now I am 42 years old and dealing with health issues, (PKD, type 2 Diabetes, gout, high BP) which my pages on Wizzley discuss openly. I am trying to LEARN and share my life lessons and knowledge as I go along.
I hope that it will be meaningful for all of us! ;)

How I Got My Nickname: FatCatMomma
for more than one reason...
My nickname came from a movie quote:
"Did I, fat-cat mama with the red dress on?" said by Pistachio Disguisey in The Master of Disguise. That part in the movie made me giggle every time I thought of it for weeks afterwards.
There really isn't a lot in this world that makes me laugh uncontrollably but that quote was one that did.
Since I also had two FAT cats at home at the time I decided I WAS a FATCATMOMMA and it became my self chosen nickname online.

I'm an internet addict and I am EVERYWHERE.
I LOVE the internet because it is the world at my finger tips and anything I want to know I can find. I LOVE this!
