With the changing season comes the need to change your beauty products. I have some very interesting result from a panel of women who've done just that. We've taken a good hard look at the products available and came up with a list of those we cannot live without. Follow along as we share with you our beauty picks for this season that will have you looking your best.

The Hottest Beauty Products
I like a bargain just as much as the next girl but prefer quality above all else. You could say I love to get my moneys worth. You get what you pay for and so I never go without the most basic trendy beauty needs of any well kept girl! Trendy is important because trendy is girl speak for cutting edge and when it comes to our look we all want the latest hot new trends delivering this edge.
I've been doing a little research with my gal pals to determine which of the hot new beauty products really deliver. What I found was pure gold as I asked for research and feedback from faithful beauty loving women like myself. We girls are firm critics when it comes to our beauty products and intend to get the the most simple and effective products on the planet.

Beauty Test Panel
Learn what the beauty panel tested and loved.
I formed a panel of diverse females to get the low down on the best products. I invited girls and women of all ages and walks of life who were all excited to join.
On first meeting we compiled a list of our favorite beauty products discussing our most basic needs. On our second meeting I brought the current issue of several women's beauty and fitness magazines. We went through these magazines and discussed the product claims, prices and availability!
We then divided into groups with each further dissecting the products we felt we might love or could not live without. Each group scheduled a shopping date to get their hands on the products they wanted to sample. We talked to the department store owners and asked for free samples. We were tickled pink at the happy managers who so generously flooded us with free products. We didn't let the free samples govern our choices, we stuck to the list we researched and purchased the items we didn't get samples of.
Each member of the group choose their top five products after weeks of sampling. By the end of six weeks all the members decided they were now firm on their top picks. Each member wrote down their must have, cannot live without products. privately at home sealing them in an envelope submitting them to count at our next meeting.
We then, by way of popular vote, came up with the overall top products, the top two of which were unanimous. I still think that is just crazy after all we are a large group of women and yet our basic needs were so closely woven. This speaks volumes as to the related beauty desires and needs of such a diverse group of females. So today I highlight those we unanimously picked and our must haves!
And now without further ado I bring to you our LIST of our top four beauty products we feel are simple, effective and worth every penny! Enjoy!

OMG I will never ever be without this stuff.
Not only does Burt's Bees lip balm deliver moisture and comfort to your lips it offers a delightful hint of fresh mint. It comes in a retro tin container which is recyclable, or you can get it in the plastic tube which is also recyclable.
The cost of is $3.00 a tin. I just bought five tins to have on hand in all my vital places. While building this web page I found it at even greater savings here online.
Look for them below and smile! The five tins vanished quickly as my daughters got their hands on a few and I was off to my local Raisin Rack health food store to buy more, gotta have it gotta!
Note: While on my second run to get more lib balm a nice lady who works there turned me on to the tinted lip shimmer and oh am I ever hooked.
So I now use the lip shimmer more than the lip balm. It's minty also! Not to worry, I bought a four pack for each of us so my daughters will stay outta my stash.
They came in a great lil compact which has a mirror.
I feel so James Bond when I pull my fancy lil pack out, unsnap the soft yet durable case and pull out one of the lip shimmers applying it while I use the mirror, with a quick swish snap it's back safe and sound tossed in my bag, all while I drive happily down the freeway...What fun! This product transcends age and time and was one of the majority favorites.
It was loved by those with dry skin, oily skin, young skin and older skin.

I was amazed to learn that all the women in this group suffered with acne. Acne does not descriminate when it comes to age. We got a few free samples of this product and yet after the rave review from our product samplers we bought more to broaden the test. It was just amazing how this product worked and one I myself will not be without. I'm a girl who has great looking skin and yet the minute I take a vaca from my skin care my face breaks out... UGH! no more, I'm in love with this product!
Boscia is a botanical treatment in gel form to be applied to skin after you wash it and before you apply your moisturizer, allowing a moment to dry and or penetrate your skin before applying moisturizer. A teen with bad acne had no results and during our meeting was instructed to be careful allowing it to dry or penetrate before applying anything else to her face. She tried it came back the following week and raved about the progress and healing her face had experienced! Yea a happy teen!
I especially love this product because of it's natural ingredients and only contains natural preservatives.

It seems we all have issues with eyes in terms of dark circles, puffiness and the youngest of our group seemed to be just as trouble and concerned, if not more concerned.
The truth is all women take issue with waking up to puffy eyes and dark circles.
We were determined to include a product in our results that would handle this issue for all of us once and for all.
After all the evidence we uncovered ourselves proved this to be a typical issue. All the women in the group young and old alike suffered the exact same issues. We decided it was more of an environmental and lifestyle issue than one of age. We set out to tackle it!
We collectively tried 5 products narrowing it down to two and then the winner. We noted that all the eye beauty products were pricey with our final choice landing in the $30 price range, which is a good range.

A Review Plus Bonus Product
Topping the list is one we loved for it's simple and effective natural qualities. Hands down the majority of our group was not comfortable with slapping chemical cocktails on our bodies on a daily basis and were all to glad when we found a natural fave.
The herb ginseng is highlighted in this fab eye cream and helps eliminate dark circles. It also contains caffeine which reduces puffiness. Origins eye cream includes silica and mica creating a brightening illusion which brightens your eyes making them sparkle and what girl doesn't want a clearer brighter more beautiful eyes? This product also smells good. You notice the effects of this product right away. It's def a must have and we won't be going without it anytime soon.
Okay confession time, this product was actually a tie between another eye product and yet after a review of the product availability and cost we went with my favorite hands down. Should I include the runner up? Maybe next time as you never know when I might unveil a new research study done by real women just like you!
I have got to give a shout out to one of my all time favorite lines, this is one we all loved and used extensively. For this reason we left it out of the study but all agreed we wanted to include our beloved line of philosophy products which none of us will ever be without. So if you have not tried philosophy products you will want to give them a go.

When I get paid, I'm going to come back here and order the Aveeno and lip balm. I use Mary Kay moisturizer, because I'm a consultant (although I don't sell anymore) I get it half price. I've been looking for an over-the-counter moisturizer that is light weight and doesn't break me out. Thanks for the article Katie.
