Traditional burial pollutes our earth. The body decomposes eventually, no matter how it's preserved. I'd like to donate my body and organs, but if it's not possible (due to time constraints), I'll be cremated with no casket or memorial. I want people to remember me when I was alive.

What a great story Jo tells.
Katie, did you know that "Krav Maga" in Hebrew means "Contact Battle" - but backwards - krav is battle and maga is contact. I have a friend who learned it and she is tiny. She managed to protect herself very will against a guy who threatened her serious bodily harm.

Good luck with them all, and I look forward to reading the results. :)

Thank you for reading my articles.

I love seeing spider webs early in the morning. And I loved reading "Charlotte's Web" to my son when he was small.

Hello brother. Good Stuff. Nice summary of your entrepreneurial adventures. Lot's of things in our childhood that I did not know (you cleaned apartments for $30 a week ? That was a lot of money back then!)

I've read your other 3 articles you've written after 50 pages. Keep up the good work. I have so many ideas, but don't follow through. I'm going to change that.

I wanted to know where you got the printable invitations and the Hershey chocolate bars wrapped with a personalized ??

Hello SeanMac,
Thanks for reading and commenting! I read my first Picoult book about 3 yrs. ago, then went back and read all of them. I think she uses the courtroom drama a lot (maybe she wanted to go into law)? But she gets the characters and emotions right, and the plots are interesting. Take care. Jean

Thank you for the insights on gift giving for the Jewish friends in our lives. :)K

I actually swam in the Gellert Baths. It was wonderful. The water was warm and filled with minerals. And it was as beautiful in real life as it is in the photograph. One caveat however - I do NOT recommend getting a massage there. It was rough and the bed was rubber and cold. But it did clear up my asthma for me - I'm putting that down to the pool and not the massage.

Let's see if I can use this well organized information to actually get some traffic to my articles. I know - I need to do a blog as well. Still waiting on that one. Can't do everything at once!

I love pesto. Gonna try to make this. Does look easy enough - but a bit messy.

I don't care if they were GIVING IT AWAY! There's no way I'd drink coffee made from animal droppings. Ugh!
Nice article though - glad I know not to be enticed if I see this advertised.

Many authors take the tactical view that they shouldn't read fan fiction based on their work. It's a matter of legal protection.

Marion Zimmer Bradley was once successfully sued by a fan. The fan fiction author had written stories about one of her series. One of Marion's later canon books followed the fan fiction to a high degree. The reason was that they were both writing within the same universe, so some narratives became obvious. Marion argued that it was coincidental.

The fan argued that Marion had copied her; and she won her court case.

This is why authors try not to read fan fiction now. They then have the defense that they didn't know.

It's the first one that I heard of. That's why talk of this reminds me of childhood, watching this film on the television. I'm very old. LOL
