katiem2, I think they do have a higher tolerance for heat. Maybe because they have a higher normal temperature than we do? Thanks for your comment!

I've never been a person to wear heavy make-up ever. The only time I have done is when I'm on stage in musical theatre and when I was in Greece and was outside all the time visiting ruins. I simply couldn't allow my skin to be unprotected for 8 hours or so a day-especially as I was taking meds at the time that reacted with the sun and even in September it was extremely hot. I have taken naps I didn't know I was going to take with my slight makeup on-but never to bed at night.

This is great. Now I can show my daughter how her mome makes money on the internet with her writing.

I have one of those but it's tucked away in a drawer somewhere. Now I know how o use it and what the best PH for various plants are. Thanks!

Katie - I think if people could just realize how many calories are in those sugary drinks, they would be a lot more willing to give them up. Kudos to your friends!

You know what is horrible? As I was writing this, I realized that I am horrible about not drinking water while I sit at the computer. Its something I'm trying to correct!!

Wow these are the traits that I thought a good wife should have and then.....I got married. I learned the hard way that when it says slave that is exactly how some men treat their women and somewhere in that mix true love and compassion vanished never to be seen again. There should be a give and take, not an all take and never give back. Not that it is expected but no one can live by giving all the time and not get anything back. Animals and children alike will lie down and die if they get no response from those they are expected to give to all the time.

I'm at a stage in life where getting good sleep has become more difficult unfortunately. All suggestions are appreciated! I've learned a great deal about just how important sleep is related to your health. My 84 year old mother has serious sleep problems to the point that she is exhausted all of the time, hallucinating, and so forth.

True, and voice inflection, tone, etc... too :) this is why an apology shouldn't be carried on over FB, text, or any other internet medium- although online many of the people we meet we don't actually know in person do we :) I thin the words can convey an apology by restating what was done and acknowledging how we made the other feel, may just work :)
