Angel, Great to hear from you and thanks for commenting.

Very good ideas for teens to make money. I have a 12 year old that wants to work this summer and we are trying to figure out what things he can do to make money. Other than things around our house. He wants a job outside of the home and not so sure that will be easy at 12 years old.. hmmm.. let me know if you have any ideas.

Very unique gift / toy for a child. I would have never thought of anything like this. Thanks for sharing what you know about rain sticks. Interesting.

These are great!! I love the copy and paste shirts. Very unique.

Katie - My daughter has a pair and loves them. They seem to be the latest fad with all the young kids now. I really want to try a pair of those wedges for summer.. Too cute. The story behind them is a great story too. One for One...

Hi Katie - I think these are very important skills that a child should learn. I have seen grown men that did not know how to wash a dish or fold a towel because their moms never had them do it as a child. I try my best to get my children to do their chores and understand what they are doing. It is a task sometimes but I still do it. Thanks for reading and commenting.

Oh my youngest is going to love the grey ballet flat, she has worn the pair she got this fall out, she wears them every where and wears them out, she's really hard on shoes. Great shoes as toms are great quality, those she just wore out serves as a reminder as they were not toms, toms are durable and long lasting.

Oh how important, great tool to teach kids planning and goal setting. I went through so many of these wonderful charts as my kids grew. I kept moving them along as they learned and grew their charts did as well. Great idea Angel thanks for the reminder, life skills are vital for young children to succeed giving them such a good feeling of doing their part.

Ah I'm beginning to get it, thanks for the insights as to the new facebook timeline. I do think I like it, maybe its the fact that just when everyone is following in the facebook timeline footsteps a change is refreshing. I appreciate your guide its always a pleasure.

Thanks for the very helpful advice, I have two daughters who both plan on going to college, one in middle school and one in high school, we plan on taking advantage of many different possibilities when it comes to paying for their college education. Thanks for the tips we will be back to review this as we plan for college.

An excellent explanation of the path we must walk to gain enreaderment - setting beacons for the bots to know that we have produced an heir that our target audience should be told is born.
Loved it.

I used to do it with my kids, and we loved it! Zumba is an intense dance exercise, but you get to have your 'moves', too. Doing Mambo (or Salsa) moves with sneakers is a lot harder than I thought... no gliding...have to pick up my feet. After one hour of exercise, I couldn't even walk straight for a few minutes...

Dustytoes.. thanks for letting me know about my Zazzle store mistake. I agree that college education is a must. As a matter of fact, some of us think that Master degree is new BS degree. Life is more competitive, in general. I just hate to see young kids stuck in jobs they do not like because of big college debt (which seem equivalent to mortgage payments before the housing bubble).

BrendaReeves... I also feel like have ADHD.. I have more than 10 wizzes between last year and yesterday that I have not finished. I've been reading a lot here, but I guess I will eventually have to write...

This is a common problem for sure. You're right that different solutions work for different children and for different parents, too.
When my babies were small we called "co-sleeping" "the family bed." Worked for us. I couldn't bear to let them cry either. For some families, having babies learn to sleep in their own beds is really important, and some of the "solutions" work for them. I guess, in the end, we all need to find what works for us.

Thanks for the love, kinworm!

I had a lot of fun writing it.

:-D
