Whenever I needed to learn anything during my career I would offer to give a talk on in. It definitely works to get to the point where you can explain something to someone else.

Hello TerriRexson, thank you for your visit and comment. We are a Lego household too and the stuff is indestructible. I bought used Lego and washed / steam-cleaned it and it was as good as new again. The minifigs are different because we often lose the small guns and swords etc.

Lissie, can you enlighten me how to do that? I looked around and can't find a way to edit / change the sample questions ... What am I overlooking?

I'd love to find something else that could match Amazon! Commission Junction works well for me too, but Amazon works so well it's hard to spend time on other programs. I'm trying to though.

Looks like you're doing very well yourself! Yes, I tend to just go for subjects if I like them too. I take the approach that if I'm interested in and knowledgeable about the subject then that's more important than how competitive it is.

hmmm - just do the equivalent of the sample questions in German - though i imagine there is much less of a database in the language though. I do get the odd Spanish word when searching in English

Lissie, I tried Keyword Researcher out with German keywords and sorry, it doesn't do well on that one. Reason being that the sample questions are in English and can't be edited, at least at the moment. So what you get is a combination of English and German words that is pretty much useless. If anything at all, as very few people will type in this sort of thing.

@Terri - I was asked whether the tool worked in German - and even though I'm in an English speaking country, I chose the google.de database and sure enough got German longtails! I also asked the developer your question and this is his answer:

"Sometimes the US Autocomplete database contains lots of words from other countries. Particularly expressions in French and Spanish. Note that the Autocomplete database is just a "list of what people are typing--in the country that they are typing it." So there is a lot of "cross talk" in the database -- especially on the USA database, because there are 320 million Americans here--and we all come from someplace else.

That said however, we still are not completely sure of how the 'regional googles' work. There are some things google doesn’t tell us. And not all google datacenters have the same services. For example, some countries don't have "related searches" so we cant provide that option to some KeywordResearcher customers.

Not getting as many comments as I thought I would on this. Is it that nobody is reading to the end? Or is it that I have dissuaded you with that which I have written? If it is the latter, do not be dissuaded. I'd like to hear your views. Honest.

Ember - I've not thought of just teaching the wall for this! Fortunately, at least one of my friends loves to hear about history. I have someone to spout off about to there. I love it the other way around too though. Learning about what all of my friends are studying. Thanks for your insight.
