I rarely have a hangover nowadays, mainly because I follow some of the preventitive measures that you list, such as moderate drinking and eating a good meal beforehand. Smoking definitely makes a hangover worse the next day - I didn't fully appreciate it until I quit smoking altogether.

It really is crazy and sooo annoying. I normally try to stay home when there is even a hint of potential snow but I had to go out this time and finally made it back home after 7 hours!

So irritated with Network Rail at present (as well as opportunistic Taxi Drivers everywhere!)

It's crazy isn't it. I'm so used to everything grinding to a halt when it snows. I was once in Vienna when it snowed unseasonably early, and they just dealt with it calmly and there were no delays.

I started my journey with Alternative Medicine in 2006 out of desperation. Leading up to that, I had become increasingly disappointed with Western Medicine. I felt WM had failed me many times, and I heard countless stories from my (occupational therapy) clients of WM failure. They had been written off with various verbiages that amounted to “psychiatric issues”, as had I. I realized if doctors (MDs) don’t know what’s wrong with you, then (they conclude) nothing is wrong with you (translation: psychiatric issues). I try to find logic in all things. There is little logic in Western Medicine.

I think it's such a strange position for anyone to be in. Being born into a position that relies on a parent's death for promotion. It's cruel in a way.

I love the whole history aspect of it. The fact that you could know for certain so much about your ancestors fills me with joy.

Is the royal family value for money? I keep seeing figures that suggest they're great for the economy, but I'm not convinced about how independent or objective those figures are.

Politically, I'm completely at odds of the idea of an hereditary ruler.

I don't mind Charles too much though. He seemed like he could have been an old hippy, if he'd just been born into a lower class!
