This recipe for tres cocoas leches cake is a moist, rich and dense chocolate cake that will send you to chocolate heaven.

Ingredients for Cake And Toppings

Ingredients for Cake:

• 1- Chocolate Devil's Food Cake mix
• ingredients directed on cake mix.

Ingredients for Cream Topping:

• 5 ounces unsweetened baker's chocolate
• 14-ounce can evaporated milk
• 14-ounce can sweetened condensed milk
• 1/2 cup heavy cream

Ingredients needed for Whipped Topping:

• 1 cup cream
• 2 tbsp cocoa powder, plus more for dusting
• 2 tbsp sugar

Instructions for Cake

1. Preheat the oven to 350 degree Fahrenheit.
2. Using a Chocolate Devil's Food Cake mix, prepare as directed on the package.
3. Pour the mixture into a 9 x13-inch pan that has been spray with vegetable spray.
4. Bake 30-35 minutes.
5. Let cool for 5-10 minutes.
6. Using the end of a wooden spoon or a sharp knife, poke holes in the top of cake at 1-inch intervals.
While the cake is cooling, make the cream topping

Instructions For Cream And Whipped Topping

Directions for making Cream Topping:

1. Melt the chocolate in a double boiler.
2. Slowly whisk to melted the chocolate; evaporated milk, sweetened condensed milk and the cream until combined.
3. Pour the cream topping over the warm cake and let it cool several hours, or overnight, before serving. The cream mixture will be absorbed into the cake.
Before serving, top with whipped topping.

Directions for making Whipped Topping:

1. Whip the cream with an electric mixer.
2. Stir in the cocoa and sugar.
3. Frost the cake with the whipped cream and sprinkle with cocoa powder.
4. Keep the cake refrigerated.

Two of my favorite ingredients chocolate and cream cheese. This delicious no-bake pie is easy to make, I know this will be a keeper for your recipe box! You better make two, because one will not last very long. Enjoy!


• 1 ½ cups milk chocolate chips, melted and cooled
• 1-8 ounce package cream cheese
• 1/3 cup sugar
• ¼ cup butter, softened
• 1-8 ounce frozen whipped topping, thawed
• 1 ½ teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1- 9-inch graham cracker, chocolate crust or pie shell


1. Cream until smooth the cream cheese, butter, sugar and vanilla extract.
2. Add the chocolate that has been cooled; beat well.
3. Fold in the frozen whipped topping.
4. Pour into the pie shell.
5. Refrigerate until ready to serve and any leftover.

Chocolates Coated Bacon Recipe

Chocolate coated bacon is crisply cooked and coated with milk, white or dark chocolate. I think I would love the black peppered bacon dipped in white chocolate with sea salt sprinkles! Give it a sprinkle of sea salt or nut, it is truly unique!

I dare you to give it a try, put it in a tin and give it to a friend!


  • 12 slices thick cut, about 1 pound
  • 12 wooden skewers, 12-inch
  • 6 ounces white candy coating, chopped
  • 1 cup milk chocolate chips
  • 1 tablespoon shortening


1. Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. Thread each strip of the bacon onto a wooden skewer.
3. Place the bacon on a baking rack in a large baking pan.
4. Bake for 20-25 minutes, until crisp.
5. Cool on paper towels completely.
6. Melt the white candy coating in the microwave in a microwave safe bowl; stir until melted.
7. Combine the milk chocolate chips and the shortening in a microwave safe bowl; melt in the microwave, stir until melted.
8. Coat the bacon using a pastry brush on both sides with the melted coatings.
9. Top each strip of bacon with the desired toppings.
10. Place the bacon strips on the waxed paper.
Refrigerate until the chocolate is hard. Store the leftover in the refrigerator.

Makes 12 slices of chocolate-covered bacon.

Tips From Margielynn

• Bacon may be cook without skewers if you prefer.
• Bacon also can be dipped in the chocolate completely or halfway.
• The dark or the white chocolate also may be used for your coating if you desire.
• Great toppings are sea or kosher salt, toasted coconut, coarse ground black pepper, brown sugar, cayenne pepper, finely chopped pistachio or almond or whatever nut you like.
• Make sure the bacon is crisp, chewy bacon and chocolate do not work.

• ½ cup crunchy peanut butter
• 1/3 cup butter, softened
• 2 eggs
• ¾ cup brown sugar, firmly packed
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• ¾ cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup flour
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• ¼ teaspoon salt
• 12 ounce package chocolate chips


1. Preheat the oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a large bowl; combine the peanut butter, butter and brown and white sugar, beat until creamy.
3. Gradually beat in the eggs and vanilla extract.
4. Combine in a small bowl, the flour, baking powder, and salt; blend into the peanut butter mixture.
5. Spread into a greased 13-inch x 9-inch x 2-inch baking pan.
6. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over the brownie batter.
7. Bake for 25 minutes or until lightly brown

Tip From Margielynn

This recipe may be baked in a large size pizza pan to achieve a cookie effect. Do not spread dough completely to the edges. Stay about 1-inch from the edges since dough rises as it bakes.

I love the Almond Joy candy bar, if you do too, you will love this almond joy cake recipe. It is full of chocolate goodness!


• 1 box German chocolate cake mix with pudding
• 1-1-ounce package marshmallows
• ½ cup sugar
• 1 ½ cup chocolate chips
• 1 stick margarine
• 1 cup evaporated milk
• 1 cup sugar
• 1 ½ cups chocolate chips
• 1-12-ounce package coconut flakes
• ½ cup evaporated milk
• 2 cups sliced almonds


1. Follow the instructions on the cake mix.
2. Flour and grease two 9-inch x 13-inch baking pan.
3. Divide the batter among the two pans.
4. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 20 minutes.
5. In a sauce pan add 1 cup evaporated milk and 1 cup sugar; bring to boil.
6. Remove the mixture from the heat; add marshmallows.
7. Stir until the marshmallows dissolve; add coconut.
8. Pour over both the cakes dividing the mixture.
9. In a separate sauce pan add ½ cup sugar, ½ cup evaporated milk and margarine.
10. Heat this to a rapid boil; remove from the heat.
11. Add the chocolate chips; drizzle over both the cake and sprinkle with the almonds.

We all love chocolate chip cookies! To bake fresh cookies on a short notice, keep a supply of the cookie dough in the freezer. Wrap the dough well, I wrap in wax paper and place in a plastic freezer bags. When you need some fresh cookies for company or just for your cravings, thaw the cookie dough enough so you can spoon it out to bake.

This scrumptious cookie dough and baked cookies will keep up to 9 months in the freezer. How neat is that, chocolate chip cookies at our finger tips anytime we want them!


• 2/3 cups shortening
• 1 cup granulated sugar
• 1 cup brown sugar, packed
• 2/3 cups butter or margarine, softened
• 2 eggs
• 2 teaspoons vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 3 cups all-purpose flour
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 1 cup chopped pecans, or any nut you desire
• 1-12 ounce package semi-sweet chocolate chips ( I like milk chocolate)


1. Preheat the oven to 375 degrees Fahrenheit.
2. In a large mixing bowl, mix well, the shortening, butter, brown sugar, granulated sugar, eggs and vanilla extract.
3. Blend in the flour, baking soda, salt. (For a softer, rounder cookie, add ½ cup flour)
4. Add the nuts and chocolate chip, mixing well.
5. Drop heaping teaspoonful of the dough on an ungreased baking sheet 2 inches apart.
6. Bake 8 to 10 minutes, until light brown.
7. Cool a few minutes before removing from the baking sheet.

Note: You can really put any flavor chips or chunk you desire in this cookie mix.

Chocolate Sour Cream Cupcakes are so luscious and moist. The sour cream is the trick to making these cupcakes moist! They are topped with a Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting.


• 1 cup sugar
• ¾ cup plus 2 tablespoons flour
• 3/4 teaspoon Baking powder
• 1/4 cup plus 2 tablespoons cocoa powder, unsweetened, sifted
• 3/4 teaspoon baking soda
• 1/2 teaspoon salt
• 1 egg, large
• 1/2 cup sour cream
• 1/4 cup canola oil
• 1 tablespoon vanilla extract
• 1/2 cup water, boiling
• paper muffin liner needed


1. Preheat your oven to 350 degrees Fahrenhiet
2. Place the paper muffin liners in pan.
3. Mix in a large bowl; flour, sugar, cocoa powder, baking soda, baking powder and salt.
4. Add the egg, sour cream, oil and vanilla extract.
5. With a wooden spoon mix all together until combined, do not over mix.
6. Add the boiling water; stir slowly until the mixture is smooth.
7. Fill the muffin cups ½ full with mixture
8. Bake for 15 to 18 minutes.
9. Cool completely on a baking rack.

Chocolate Butter Cream Frosting Recipe

• 2 sticks butter, 1 cup, softened
• 2 cups powdered sugar, sifted
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 2 tablespoons cream
• ½ cup cocoa powder, unsweetened, sifted


1. In a medium size mixing bowl beat the butter for 2 minutes on medium speed with an electric mixer.
2. Add the powdered sugar and mix on low speed until blended.
3. Next add the vanilla extract, cream and cocoa powder; beat on medium speed for 3 more minutes until it is light and fluffy.
4. Spread on the cooled cupcakes.

Wacky Cake Recipe

This yummy little chocolate wacky cake is easy to make when you get a chocolate craving! I made this cake as a young teen, it is easy and quick! You can frost with your favorite frosting or eat it without one. Enjoy!


• 1 ½ cup flour
• 1 cup sugar
• 3 tablespoons unsweetened cocoa (sift to remove lumps)
• 1 teaspoon baking soda
• 1 teaspoon baking powder
• 1 teaspoon salt
• 5 tablespoons oil
• 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
• 1 teaspoon vinegar
• 1 cup warm water
• 1 cup chocolate chips


1. Combine the first six ingredients and mix well.
2. Make three holes in the mixture; pour oil in one, vanilla extract in another and vinegar into the third.
3. Add the water and mix until blended.
4. Pour into a greased and floured 8-inch x 8-inch or round 9-inch cake pan.
5. Sprinkle the chocolate chips over batter.
6. Bake at 350 degrees Fahrenheit for 35 to 40 minutes.

It is called Wacky Cake because of th untraditional way it is made, not with a mixer, would be my guess!
