Synopsis: Aria (Lucy Hale) and Spencer (Troian Bellisario) break into Sara's (Dre Davis) room at the Radley and search for the golf club the mysterious new "A" says was used in Charlotte's (Vanessa Ray) murder while Emily (Shay Mitchell) follows through with donating her eggs but learns something unexpected.

The Band's Back Together
As I predicted last week, Aria's dad (Chad Lowe) was hiding a love affair. And, as I also predicted, it ended up being her mom (Holly Marie Combs).
Of course, I'm still a little fuzzy about why they needed to go to the Radley of all places when they have separate living arrangements and could have easily kept their secret from Aria by taking advantage of that. And, while Aria's dad has an alibi for Charlotte's murder, I don't think it fully explains why he felt the need to leave a message on Ezra's (Ian Harding) answering machine, unless Ezra knows about their efforts to reconcile and suspects Aria's dad has another woman.
On the Subject of Byron and Ella
This is a theory my wife actually came up with last night while watching this and is worth sharing. What if they were the couple that was interested in Emily's eggs?
This would make some sense considering they are renewing their commitment to each other and maybe want to seal that new relationship by not sharing an empty nest together. Plus, with all the time they've spent alone "talking about when to break the news to Aria," it's possible she is hiding a pregnancy.
I guess we'll have to wait and see with this one. If Ella announces she has a bun in the oven, then my wife's theory definitely gains some traction.
Was Emily Really Hallucinating?
It's very possible she has Sara on the brain and just imagined her sabotaging her IV. But, something tells me that isn't the case.
I'm not saying Alison (Sasha Pieterse) is necessarily in on it. Granted, she could be new best friends with Sara and helping her. But, it's also possible Sara found a way to get in and out of the room undetected. She did, after all, spend a lot of time with Charlotte.
Of course, if it wasn't a hallucination, then the question now becomes "what did she inject into Emily?" I highly doubt she's trying to kill her and would rule out poison as a result. But, it wouldn't be the first time somebody has put a foreign substance into Emily's blood stream in an effort to frame her later.
Dr. Rollins Moves Up the Suspect List
I wasn't really sure what to think of Dr. Rollins (Huw Collins) when he was first introduced following the mid-season break. But, the more I see of him, the more I begin to suspect he's up to something.
Given the fact he worked closely with Charlotte, he could either be her killer (realizing it was a mistake to set her free) or the one trying to find her killer. I'm actually leaning toward the former more than the latter because he's shown no sign of being a technology expert. But, he did know about Emily donating her eggs so maybe he's working with the mysterious stalker.
The Hole in Sara's Room is a Pretty Big Clue
Thought, admittedly, I'm still not really sure what it means yet because there are a number of a possibilities.
The first thing that obviously comes to mind is Sara is faking her hand injury. After all, she supposedly can't even sign her own name, how is she supposed to smash a hole through a wall and climb up and down a ladder?
Possibility two is she is working with someone, they are the one that smashed through the wall and are using the ladder. This is valid since she learned from Charlotte and Charlotte never worked alone.
The other possibility is she, herself, is being terrorized and someone is coming up through the hole to torture her. I'm not as keen about this one, however, since that is a pretty big hole in the wall and I'm sure she would have noticed it.
Does the Radley Really Have So Little Security?
I raise this question because Aria and Spencer rented a room in the hotel in secrecy. But, I find it hard to believe the only security camera in the whole place is in the lobby area because, if it is, it is a pretty big waste of a fancy monitoring room.
This is important, I think, because, if I were the Rosewood Police Department, I would be doing more than just checking out video footage from the night Charlotte was killed and would be very suspicious of my top suspects hanging out so much and even checking into the hotel like that, especially if Sara decides to report someone breaking into her room.
Final Opinion
As I pretty much suspected, Aria almost immediately ruled out her dad as a potential murder suspect while a new potential suspect moved up the list. I'm still not convinced if this season is any different than any of the others I've watched but I am certain things are about to come to a head shortly, especially with the PLLs striking back against their stalker at the end of the episode.
