Firefighter costumes for kids are more than just a popular costume for Halloween, they are perfect for dress-up and pretend play throughout the year.

Do you have a little boy or girl who can't wait to see what Firefighter Costumes are available this Halloween? Every boy in my family loves pretending to be a fire fighter, so it seemed only fitting to search for the best firefighter costumes for boys and girls.

One of the nice things about firefighter costumes is that they can we worn year round. Kids have fun wearing them for Halloween, but they are also perfect for play time around the house.

Knowing that the costume will get plenty of daily use, I usually try to get the highest quality set that I can afford. That way it can keep up with the demands of rugged boys.

Authentic Firefighter Costume

Our family has a lot of fire fighters and a black uniform is the traditional outfit for the fire fighters in our area. So this authentic looking firefighter costume is the right choice for my family and it may be for yours too. This is the same costume that I have for my 3 kids and I can tell you that it has survived years of abuse from my kids and their friends. There are some gorgeous costumes here, but I have a particular fondness for the little boy with his fire engine attached. That's really creative! And very cute.
