Fitz and Floyd Santa Christmas Decor

by Digby_Adams

You'll love the Fitz and Floyd salt and pepper shakers, cookie jars, snack trays, dishes and all the other tableware that celebrates Santa and the Christmas season.

Fitz and Floyd have hundreds of pieces that incorporate Santa Clause in their design. Personally I love the Fitz and Floyd salt and pepper shakers. But you might prefer the Fitz and Floyd festive Santa napkin holders. It's just not your Christmas table that will benefit from these richly designed Santa decorations. There's a whole lot of Fitz and Floyd Santa candle holders that will look fabulous on buffet tables and fireplace mantles. Children will love finding Christmas cookies in a Santa cookie jar. You can treat Fitz and Floyd like decorative collectibles or use them. Personally I make tea in my Fitz and Floyd Santa teapots.

If you want to decorate for Christmas in a rich and tasteful way, then stick with Fitz and Floyd Christmas decor. One look at the Santa salt and pepper shakers to the right and you'll quickly understand the respect people have for the Fitz and Floyd name. The high-quality and beautiful designs make them perfect gifts. If your visiting friends or family for the Holiday Season and want to bring a small host gift Fitz and Floyd is the perfect gift. It's a world-wide recognizable brand and lots of people will understand that you thought enough of them to give them a very high-quality gift.

You can see my personal favorite Fitz and Floyd Santa salt and pepper shaker at the top. It's Santa with ribbon candy and peppermints. I love ribbon candy and wait each year to buy as much as I can. If I'm lucky I might have some left in March, but that means I used a lot of personal discipline. You can see the attention to detail, buy noting that Santa is holding a peppermint candy and that his Santa suit is decorated with one in the middle.

There are so many Fitz and Floyd santa salt and pepper shakers that you could put one at each place setting. I also love the set that has a Santa and a giant Christmas stocking filled with presents. Of course Santa hugging a reindeer is particularly adorable.

I love shopping ebay because you'll find so many different Santa salt and pepper shakers in one place. Yes, you'll find Fitz and Floyd in all the finest stores and in many antique shops. But I guarantee that you won't find the selection in either of those places that you find on the ebay site. In fact, I've noticed lately that many small shops are also listing their inventory on ebay as well.

Find It on ebay!

Here's the companion Fitz and Floyd napkin holder to the salt and pepper shakers I showed you above. See Santa is riding on a sledding of ribbon candy with a candy cane as a runner. He's still holding on to a giant peppermint candy and has smaller peppermints for buttons on his Santa Suit. If you're a peppermint candy lover, I'm sure your mouth is really watering.

You can coordinate your tableware or you can just pick a few Santa pieces and use generic red or green tableware. That way your tableware lasts for more than a few weeks. I'm lucky that I have a lot of space for storing collectibles, decorations, and tableware. Other people live in apartments and small homes. If this is you, then you can even use these napkin holders with blander white table decor and linens. All it takes is a few seasonal pieces to perk up a table.

For example the same white table cloth would work with these pieces of Santa tableware or with a pair of Halloween black cat napkin holder. It's like having a neutral sofa and changing out your throw pillow covers.

If you're a Fitz and Floyd collector, ebay is a fabulous place for your to find rare or retired pieces. Whenever your buying a used item on ebay, carefully check out the condition report and look at the photographs. If there's a part of the item not shown and you have any qualms at all, email the seller and ask. Often they'll take another picture and email it back to you. That way you won't be disappointed when the item appears. The ebay sellers I know take their Positive Feedback Score very seriously and don't want to do anything to harm it. It's one of the major reasons that ebay is one of the most trusted shopping sites in the world.

Great Bargains on ebay!

I love decorative collectibles and I have my share of collectible figurines in my curio cabinets. But I love using beautiful things everyday. Luckily my grandmothers also believed in this, and I've inherited some of their practical collectibles. One of my favorites is a Fitz and Floyd Santa cookie jar. As a child, I learned that the Santa would arrive on the kitchen counter on Thanksgiving weekend and so would Grandma's molasses cookies. Until New Year's Day I could depend on going to Santa for a sweet treat! Luckily I inherited Grandma's secret molasses cookie recipe and I can treat the rest of my family - who love the fact that I'm continuing that special holiday tradition.

There are dozens of beloved Christmas cookie jars from Fitz and Floyd. While many are Santa, you'll find snowmen, Christmas cats, reindeer, and Christmas trees. But my husband loves the one that has Santa in a bright red Rolls Royce. Santa is riding in back with two reindeer up front. Santa gets around a lot of ways. You'll also find a cookie jar that shows Santa (wearing a giant sombrero) on a donkey with a hug sack of toys.

Some of these cookie jars are so ornate and detailed, you might have trouble figuring out what part of cookie jar comes off. I once had put my Santa cookie jar on the coffee table for the centerpiece surrounded by sandwiches and chips. The cookies were to be the dessert. One of my guests gasped when the top fell off as she brushed her hand against it. She thought she had broken a figurine!
