Hi all,

I trust that many of you have been writing for quite some time. As such, I'd love to get some feedback on the "My First Day in India" article I've posted, which is essentially a travel journal with some humour sprinkled in.

Any feedback as to the content will be great. I'd also appreciate if any of you have good feedback as to layout, etc. I know the article is pretty text heavy as it is (my focus was on writing rather than website design), so if you've got good advice on how I can spice it up with pictures and videos - I'm all ears.

Thanks in advance to anyone who responds,
Daniel

Looking at our top articles for inspiration is always a good idea, Daniel. There you can see what other authors do in regard to layout and image placement. Long stories are easier to read, if you break them up into smaller sections---use several text modules---and illustrate them with 1 or 2 pictures (or more).

You might also be able to make good use of our Google map module, or add a few links to further resources with a link module. And don't forget our "money makers" - the Amazon, AllPosters, and Zazzle modules. From what I've seen so far, you could get nice images for your stories from AllPosters, and create an income possibility at the same time.

Don't worry - you'll figure it out. Your content is excellent, the rest will follow.  Smile

Hi Achim,

Excellent, thanks for such a quick response and the great tips. I will definitely polish up the articles later by breaking them into readable slices and spicing them up with modules!

I can't really add anything to what chefkeem has stated other than "Listen to him". I do.

I really do love this Wizzley Forum and the whole thing. I am learning something new here every time I visit.
