Bad Online Shopping Experience

Has anyone here had a bad online shopping experience? I recently had one.

I ordered a bouquet of flowers as a surprise for Valentine's day but did not arrive til now. Tried to contact them but got no reply. I spent hours searching for a good flower store in Ontario then I ended up on their website, checked their Facebook page and saw that it was good and they really had good designs. But sad that it did not arrive on time. I don't know how far Ottawa to Toronto is but I think they can deliver it on time. Just sad that they did not.

I'm just sharing my thoughts from this experience.

I would definitely call them and let them know that you are not happy. I buy online all the time. I can't say that I've had any bad experiences.

At the time of your writing it was still afternoon of February 14 in Canada. Did they promise to deliver at a specific time of day? Unless it was agreed upon that, for example, they deliver at 9 o'clock in the morning you might have a hard time arguing that they did not deliver on time.

At the time I wrote the post it was 9pm in Ontario, I just checked the time online. The flowers were actually for my brother-in-law's fiancee. He just asked me to buy it online because he does not have a credit card. I asked him a while ago and said it still has not arrived, he tried to contact them a two hours ago, but haven't spoke to him yet after that. It was my first time to buy something for others online and it didn't turn out well. I just feel sad about it. I also don't want to be a reason for their misunderstanding.

Just checked their confirmation email and website and the did not indicate the time they deliver. Maybe it will arrive tomorrow. I does not matter anymore that it's late I just hope it arrives.

You do realise that Ottawa and Toronto are two entirely different cities? Many years ago before I got really, really cynical, and stopped doing flowers entirely, I only ever used a local florest

Yes, I know. I searched for it online. But I could not find an online flower store that is in Toronto. So i just chose the one in Ottawa as I checked it is near Toronto, or maybe the map just looks small. But I chose a local florist in Canada than buy in Amazon or from US since it is farther from Toronto.

Maybe when I get there years from now, I might know how really far it is. Smile But I am thousand of miles away here in southeast Asia. I guess next time I have to put the date at least two days earlier.
