Just wanted to share this. I do have spells where my brain feels totally empty. This is the best I've seen on getting it going.

LOL 'An ink-dispensing manual writing tool from the past.' This was useful. I thought it was only me who had days like that! My stuff: A Writer's Guide to Wizzley | Beautiful Britain!

I wish I had that problem. Maybe I need more coffee. I think he was talking about brainstorming ideas on paper, not writing your works. I have tendonitis in my hands so I love my keyboard, but I get what he's saying about handling paper and moving things around and comparing pages side by side. Not that I have any surface to do that on. Lana or LIl aka Ragtimelil RagtimeLil's Store on Weebly

Hi, Catana, Right with you! I won't live long enough now to explore all the ideas I have flowing through an aging brain. And it's never been different. I wake up with ideas and I go to sleep with ideas, and I dream ideas that I jot down in the morning. I look at something, hear something, taste something, and an idea immediately assaults me! It's a curse. Ha! Actually, I call it the flow of life. I have mountains of clippings, idea "banks" -- skeleton story ideas and story thought ideas and title ideas -- jotted down. Bank boxes of partial works are everywhere in my apartment. My problem is finishing! But I love writing so much that I just go with the flow and work on whatever I please when I please, especially since retirement in 2008, and that pleases me. I have over 1,000 articles total on several writing sites. And my old brain loves to take pencil and paper to a shade tree and create lead script. Writing is my continuous addiction. I just started on Wizzley and it looks like it may be a whole new outlet for me. Yay! BA |
