Can Amazon links be easily converted to Viglinks?

I am in Louisiana, and our politicians just went tax happy.  As a result Amazon appears ready to cancel affiliate program here on April 1. as per their email giving the tax as a reason.  I have a Viglink account, but have been using it mostly for Ebay here.  I need to convert my Amazon affiliate modules rather quickly, and with over 140 Wizzles it will be time consuming if there is no easy way.  Does anyone know a short cut?  If I remove the affiliate number will the conversion become automatic for current Amazon modules. and would I use them these modules for Viglinks?  I suspect others in this state also need to know this, and other states are likely to follow.

Sorry to hear that, blackspanielgallery!

Normally it would be easy to switch links over by just removing your Amazon Associates ID and ensuring you are set up with VigLink. However, VigLink says currently on the merchant page for Amazon that they restrict publishers from Nexus tax states... Unless you move, or appoint someone living in another state (and that you trust) to manage your account, you might be out of luck over there as well. If in doubt please submit a ticket to their (VL) support team.

If Amazon do eventually build some kind of presence in your state they will usually re-activate their associates. So there's a tiny bit of hope.

Thanks.  I looked through Viglinks and found a party supplies merchant and a book seller, which are the main things I will need to replace, and both are coded available.  It may take a month or so to get through everything.  My Wizzles can be fixed, but with lost time.  Fortunately, it is not the selling season, and by Halloween I should easily have my Wizzles in order.  I suppose Wizzley will still have the credit 40% of the time.  If I delete my affiliate code immediately, would Wizzley get the 100%?  Better they get any sales than Amazon not pay anyone.  I will get sales again once I get Viglink merchants up as replacements.

If you delete your Amazon code but have Viglink in place, then all affiliatable (is that even a word?) links will be routed through them. Our share of impressions will not change.

Sorry I didn't see both topics you posted. Barnes and Noble and Wal-Mart are available to you on Viglink. Both have stores in your state, so they are the nexus and not the affiliate. I would think that those combined would have the products you need to replace your Amazon links.
