Former Suite writer seeks advice

I was a long-time writer on Suite101. Now I need a new place to place my writing.

First, is there anyone else here who has successfully migrated their Suite articles to Wizzley?

And, may I ask as to how much y'all make per month? Inquiring minds want to know...;-)

Thank you in advance!

Hi Mary,

Another Suite101 old timer here too.  I've been here since December 2011 and I haven't looked back.  I didn't migrate my articles though.  They're still over on Suite.  I wrote brand new ones.

I do feel that I've had success here though.  The hits that I get far, far exceed those which I received at Suite  (first day on news articles aside), and so has the money.

It's a different set up here though.  Wizzley don't pay us directly.  We add in our own affiliate links and get paid directly by Amazon, Zazzle, Adsense/Chitika et al.   I've gone into it in far more detail on Suite's forum (third comment down).

If you have any more questions about the transition, please don't hesitate to ask.  There are quite a few old Suiters here.   Paula Thomas and Joni Rose joined yesterday.  Brenda and Wisefool have been here for ages.  Brooke's been settling in nicely over the past few weeks.   And many more besides.

I do recommend it; and I'm not just saying that because the Wizzley admin can read here.  You know I've never been backwards at speaking my mind. :)

Yours

Jo

Welcome!

Now that Suite has all but disbanded in my mind, this is where I will be doing all my writing.  Can't say I've seen much success yet, but it is early days for me still--been busy since I joined getting kids settled into school and me back to work.  And my page views aren't great but again, I have no doubt they will improve when I figure it all out a bit better.  And lovely people like Jo have been very gracious with their help and advice!

Hello - I'm also a refugee from Suite.  I am happy to be here - and just getting my head round the way posting articles works. Not sure if I am up to speed yet with it all, but I certainly like the look of this site because everyone seems very friendly and there is a good deal of choice.  Thanks for having me!

Great to see you here too.

If you're stuck on anything, then feel free to fling me a message.  I'm used to both Suite and Wizzley, so I know where it all differs and where it's the same.   I'd be happy to help out.

That said, asking on the forums is usually much quicker, as you're not waiting for me to log out of whatever game I'm playing; and everyone here genuinely is friendly.   I've had so much help over the year I've been here, so it's good to be able to give something back now too.

Jo - thanks so much.  I have to admit to reading quite a few of your posts before I came on here as a writer. You inspired me to give it a go.  You work very hard.   thanks for the offer. It's good to know.

Thank you so much everybody! So nice to feel welcomed.

My only issue so far with Wizzley is that I am unable to access using Safari or Firefox on my Mac platform. (I waited until I came to my workplace today and signed in using a PC, no problem.)

Are there known issues with Safari. Firefox and theMac platform on Wizzley?

I use Chrome on my iMac.

FF and Safari work fine, too.

What exactly happens when you try to access Wizzley with FF or Safari?
