Hi,

I have to convert all of my Amazon to Viglinks.  This is due to my state becoming a nexus state, and Amazon cancelling all affiliate programs here.  I need merchants other than Amazon on Viglinks for books, I think Abe Books, party and costumes, I found one with 20% payout, and gardening supplies, along with Christmas and Halloween products.  I would appreciate suggestions for these categories, especially the ones I did not find yet.  Thanks.

Off the top of my head, Alibris for books.  Oriental Trading for party supplies.

I am not sure that Viglink will allow you to join their Amazon program now. Both skimlinks and viglinks used to be a viable workaround for nexus state residents. However, I remember reading that Amazon and other merchants changed their policy and people can't use this backdoor anymore.

Unfortunately, most affiliate programs will not allow people from these states, unless they already collect sales taxes in those states. So you have to look for businesses with an affiliate program that have a physical presence in those states. For example, Barnes and Noble has stores in every state so they collect sales tax. (The stores are the nexus, not the affiliates.) They also have an affiliate program. I don't know if they are available through viglinks.

Oh and Abes Books is owned by Amazon, so they probably won't work.

I found the reference in Viglink support that states you can't be located in a nexus state and be approved for those programs. http://support.viglink.com/hc/en-us/articles/205077724-Can-everyone-affiliate-with-Amazon-and-eBay-through-VigLink-

Thanks, Amazon shows a restriction on Viglinks.  But Abe Books does not.  Perhaps they have a physical presence here.  So far Zazzle has not been a problem.  Nor has ebay via Viglinks.

I know Oriental Trading is physically located in the state, I pass one of their stores regularly.  Thanks.
