Hi Frank, yes, Simon and Hans founded Pixabay a few years ago. Both live in Germany. Actually, the other half of Wizzley owners is German, too. Both Anne and I were born and raised in Germany, and we eventually emigrated to the US. Greetings from Austin, Texas! Pixabay seems to have grown quite a bit since I last visited! It's pretty amazing. I just searched for "sunflowers" and the results are wonderful. |

What I would like pixabay to do is to accept payments by means other than paypal. I don't use paypal for payments, and I would like to reward the photographers.Could you pass this on to the owners. frankbeswick

I agree. Pixabay has grown so much. One thing that distinguishes Pixabay is the original photos. I was very pleased that the online news outlet I began writing for has Pixabay as a recommended site for images. They have subscriptions to AP, Getty and Shutterstock but say if you cannot find what you need there, to go to Pixabay. THAT is incredible recognition. |
