At 11:04pm on the 11th October 2012 my darling daughter was born in an unplanned home birth (We were booked in our local Birthing Centre in the hospital in our district). Due to the speed of the labour and of the imminent birth, I myself ended up at the 'business end' and delivered my daughter whilst on the phone to emergency services.
An ambulance arrived 5 minutes later and checked out mother and daughter both doing fantastically.
Its been a week I know since sending this post, but I am still trying to catch my breath with it all.

Great News!!! Name, birthweight? Maybe even a picture of the little girl. It' seems we're mostly a bunch of women here most days, so we probably love to see pictures more than your guy pals!

Congratulations! I think the biggest high on earth is the birth of your child. There isn't a drug on earth that could compare to it.

Wow what a response!!!!
I am overwhelmed and thrilled with all your kind messages folks.
I wont be spilling a name as my partner is private about online matters and I respect her and my bubs right for privacy.
But she weighed 3.28 kilograms and was 50.5cms (7lb 4ou and 20 inches)
She is a Libran baby and also born in the Year Of The Dragon
Still trying to upload a photo
