Transferring Squidoo lenses with non-Amazon affiliate links to Wizzley?

Some of my older Wizzley pages have affiliate links through Commission Junction and Shareasale, but I get the impression that it's kind of frowned upon.

I have a few Squidoo lenses that have CJ and SAS links that I think will not be allowed on Hubpages (although I don't know for sure).

What are your thoughts, Chefkeem, about pages like this?

Yesterday I earned the largest commission I've ever earned from one sale, through a Commission Junction link on one of my Squidoo lenses, and it's killing me that the lens itself may not have long to live!

Hi Karen,

We are not generally opposed to affiliate links. Our current status quo is that 400 words of original content allows for up to eight advertisements (including AllPoster images).  Each additional advertisement (affiliate link) over this limit requires an additional 50 words of original content (not including a description of the advertised product or service).

We believe it is in the best interest of the authors to provide high quality, useful content, and not to go overboard with affiliate links. If we feel that the content is just thin filler text to pad out a page full of product links we may request improvements regardless of our guidelines.

We also encourage authors to consider using VigLink instead of the traditional affiliate networks. Rather than linking to obvious affiliate URLs such as "dpbolvw.net/xyz123" our VigLink setup enables you to link directly to the merchant's product page. No affiliate relationship with the merchant required. However, this also means that authors would share the link impressions with Wizzley,  and to some extent (20%) revenue with VigLink.

We realize that sharing is not always popular with everybody, but it's overall a much cleaner, easier and fairer solution.
