What celebrities would look like as normal people

Wow - that's amazing. Johny Depp and Tom Cruise look so different from their screen images.

I love what he did here!  Very amusing, but with a serious message. 

There's always the danger of ordinary people trying too hard to look like those airbrushed celebrity images.  That way lies eating disorders, bad self-esteem etc.  Things like these pictures redress the balance.

I always feel uncomfortable with stuff like this.  'Normal' people aren't all bad dressers and overweight.  If they weren't film stars it doesn't mean they would be slobs a s'normal' people.. 

Some of them, yes, spot on. Some of them, a bit to 'obvs' for me.

But then I don't recognise the celebrity world - my celebrities are people who are themselves first and foremost, in looks and in character. A human version of WYSIWYG if you like. People such as academics who made it to positions of higher academia by hard work, brain power and world-changing ideas in some cases. Or musicians whose talent has outlasted their looks by at least 30 years.
