Hi. I just got a message my article was rejected...it was the first installment to a story and you don't want partial stories. If I finish the story and post it all on one page would that be acceptable? Thanks for any advice you can give. I'm obviously in the learning stages! :) And no, I don't take the rejection personally. I love Wizzley!

I'll let Chef answer this, but I don't think creative writing is accepted.

Thanks, Brenda.  I saw several short stories so I thought it would be okay. :)

You would be better off publishing your story as an e-book. Your not going to get many readers no matter how good it is by writing here on wizzley or any other site. Unless your good at Social media promotion or something.

I would email one of the Wizzley team. Then they can give you the specifics.

We'd rather not publish any more short stories (or novels) on Wizzley.

We're looking for useful information, unique tips, special recommendations, personal experiences that help others, and things of similar value.

You may want to publish your story as an ebook (e. g. on Kindle), and then mention it within a useful article.  Smile

It's like Brenda said: Wizzley is not the right place for stories ... sorry :-/ An e-book is certainly the better choice for that.

Thanks, everyone! I was confused as I did see several creative works here. I'll stick to nonfiction on Wizzley then. :)

For your short stories, you always can publish them on Amazon (Kindle) and you get the full royalties ;-) SY

Yep short stories make great Kindle books, but use your wizzle to promote it instead of to host the story, give insights not in the story, hints, etc... make it intriguing.

Wizzley is a site designed to help writers make money and short stories won't generate anything, I know I wrote one on HP that got traffic, lots of comments, lots of feedback, but 0.00 in earnings after 4 years, and the page didn't just sit there. Demand and shopper demand are different.

Tips, tricks, hobby how to's, product reviews, information on how to get spots out of tupperware containers, etc... these are great articles that drive people to buy products... psychology concepts sell books, (i.e. the secret) and DVDs, movie reviews sell DVD's books, and more... it's a realm to get used to for sure in the beginning but it gets easier.

Thanks, Jerrico. It's for the best my article got rejected then, as I'd hate to pour time and energy into something worthless on Wizzley. :)
