Burning Questions About Moving Articles from Other Sites to Wizzley

I decided to remove all of my content from the other sites I have written for to Wizzley, namely Infobarrel and Hubpages.

With Hubpages, I copied the article into a word document, along with the URL and then deleted it. I waited the obligatory 24 hours until it was completely deleted and then I submitted the URL's to Google Webmaster tools and waited till they had removed it from their index. Then, I submitted them here. However, when I publish the article, Wizzley is telling me that the same article is found at Hubpages. When you go to the link it provides you get.....the page no longer exists notice. Am I in danger of being banned from Wizzley because of this?

As for infobarrel, apparently you have to wait for the administrative team to remove your articles and so far they haven't. It has only been three days though. Anyone know how long it takes to get articles removed from Infobarrel after you request it?

Thanks for your help in advance.

@Gabriel - Couple of times, I got the same warning that a copy of my article still exists.  But that's not much to worry about, if the page no longer exists.  You can ignore the warning and publish your page.  Wizzley team anyways monitors each new page.

If you still unsure and confused, you can mail the Wizzley team.  You can definitely expect a lightening quick response.

I hope that helps.

You can do it yourself on Infobarrel.

Save the article as a draft.  Go to your "Drafts" and hit "Delete."

I think Ryan and the guys did it this way (i.e., the two-step process) so that authors would not accidentally delete their own content.

I actually tried that and couldn't get it to work. There wasn't a delete button on the draft section. Maybe they removed it or maybe I missed it? Any idea where the delete button would have been?

When I go into my "Content," I have the option of going several places.  Click "Draft Articles" like this:

Live ArticlesDraft ArticlesDenied ArticlesPending Articles
I then have further options:

Edit Delete  ARTICLE TITLE WOULD BE HERE.

Not sure why you don't have that ability.

Sorry I guess I remembered it wrong. When I go to drafts there is nothing there. So I go to an article and click EDIT and then save as draft. Then I go back to drafts and there is a delete button next to it. I press delete and the draft is deleted, but the original article is still live.

I haven't done it in a while, certainly not to anything I have had live.  The articles do still seem to be "live" after deleting them so that must be a bug they need to fix.  Good luck.

Gabriel - Natasha is correct. Our internal dupe checker may lag behind. If you've deleted your hubs, don't worry.
