Checking on Amazon Product Availability - Operator Error!

Today, I wanted to check to make sure products in my Amazon modules were still available in some of my articles.

Alas, on one of them, I forgot to put it into edit mode first, and several clicks were recorded.  I can see them when I click on Module clicks from my dashboard.  Yikes

I usually out the page in edit mode to do this, so that clicks aren't counted, but didn't this time.  Is this going to cause problems with my article?  I will certainly be more careful from here on, but wondered if I had created a problem for myself by doing this, and might be penalized, either by Wizzley or  Amazon?

You can click as much as you want on Amazon modules/ads. Only sales generate income.

With Google ads it's a different deal, as they get paid by clicks.

Whew!  Thank you for that answer.  I was worried I'd really blown it.

The one thing you need to watch is that if you buy anything you need to be certain to enter Amazon via another way, or your tagging your computer would be a problem.  You cannot have last entered Amazon via your own click and tagged the affiliate account.  I do not know how long Amazon tags last.

You can deal with that by clearing your browser cache before actually going ahead to make a purchase on Amazon.

According to Amazon, their cookie will self-destruct in 24 hours.
