Determining if VigLink is working properly?

on 06/08/2015

I have been on Wizzley for 2 months, and have had ZERO monetized clicks on 20 articles. I find this very hard to believe based on my experience with my separate non Wizzley Viglink account.

I'll admit, I am not the biggest fan of VigLink, seems to be a lot of ambiguity with them when links are being monetized or not.

IMHO they are also very poor at giving you info on when you are approved/unapproved for specific retailers, etc...  Unless I am missing something?

I have a few pages getting pretty good traffic, and typically the eBay ads I am using get clicked a lot on other sites I have based on the same topics.

I have had issues on some of my own sites with my other Viglink account where mysteriously money making links all of a sudden show as "non monetized". They do not quickly answer inquires either.

Wishing I could use eBay modules separate from Viglink!

I wonder if there has been any thoughts about going directly through eBay Partner Network?

I had a nice payout from Viglink way back, through Zazzle.  Then, I noticed that Zazzle was no longer listed as a viglink affiliate.  Now, sometimes it is, and sometimes not.

Sorry, but I don't trust Viglink when they keep changing things.

I will admit that I don't know much about this type of thing, but since that first payout, I've had nothing.  It has not built my confidence in them.

I am also using my own Amazon and Zazzle id. Merchants can't seem to figure out how they want to use Viglink. Etsy is downright bazaar. They allow Canadian affiliates, but not US. Of course that's not Viglink's fault. That's Etsy's policy. Zazzle has me confused as well.

For now I'm playing it very conservative. I don't feel like having to redo a bunch of pages.

I've decided to just use the Amazon modules now, which I do see proof of clicks in my Amazon account, no sales yet.

I simply DO NOT TRUST Viglink anymore. It's a shame too, as I want to feature eBay. At least Amazon is catching up some with the vintage collectable business.

I like Wizzley, sometimes you have to adapt to the circumstances... more work ahead though :/
