Do I really have to use Pixabay?

   I want to use some images from wikimedia commons, but see the notice to use pixabay unless I own the copyright. Pixabay doesn't have what I need. Is it in concrete that it can only be that site? Thanks!

No, you do not have to use Pixabay images.

Use any images you find that have been made available to the public.

Thank you, that's a relief. I used wikicommons images in my article about playing cards, but that was published awhile ago, so I thought there was a new policy. This really frees me up. Thanks!
