Google Adsense Question: How come I am not earning?

I don't understand why I see a balance for RPM, like for example, it will say I have $0.41 for RPM, but then for estimated earnings, I have $0.00.  Can someone please explain to me how this google adsense works?

From Adsense:

https://support.google.com/adsense/answer/112030?hl=en

"Page revenue per thousand impressions (RPM) is calculated by dividing your estimated earnings by the number of page views you received, then multiplying by 1000.

Page RPM = (Estimated earnings / Number of page views) * 1000

For example, if you earned an estimated $0.15 from 25 page views, then your page RPM would equal ($0.15 / 25) * 1000, or $6.00."

So basically it's just an estimate of your earnings from 1000 impressions.

Right, so why am I not earning anything if I received views and have an RPM?  Why is it still zero?

Lybrah these are meaningless estimates. The only thing you can count are the real clicks and earnings. Even after you see those in your stats, Adsense will sometimes change the amount that you actually earn. I don't know why. I think it has to do with fraudelent clicks or something, but I'm not sure.

If you aren't getting traffic or clicks, then you need to rethink your Wizzles and content. However, sometimes people use software that blocks ads, so visitors don't see them to click.

I'm sorry there isn't an easy solution as to why people don't make money when they write online. It's often a hit and miss affair. It's not just what we write, but the competition. It's also what advertisers are willing to pay on any given day.

Exactly Digby.  We can't depend on Adsense being a big money maker. Typically it is pennies at a time. I have gone days, a week or more without earning anything.  I am not positive,, but I would  think they count unique views which is first time viewer. I am among many who do not click on Adsense ads. A lot of people have ad blocker now.  The only thing ad blocker does not  block is text links, but Adsense does not do that., but we can for Amazon etc.  I think those that do well with Adsense are few and far between and have a ton of articles out there.

I have some sites that do very well with adsense However, they were built for Adsense and certain keywords. It was deadly boring and incredibly time-consuming to make them, but it can be done. I'm trying to use some of those skills, to improve my wizzley adsense income.

If I have any success, I will share what I did with you all.

That would be greatly appreciated, Digby!   I'm also earning just pennies at a time with Adsense.
