How do I put link in page footer?

I noticed some of you added the name of your Zazzle store to your page footer. I'm trying to do it too, but it won't take the html tags. I'm writing this:

<a href="http://www.zazzle.com/mira_2012*" target="_blank">Mira_2012</a>

but when I save the new settings it appears only as

Mira_2012

Any suggestions?

Take out the "*" and see if it works.

Na, that's because no HTML is allowed inside the signature. All tags are stripped out, so only the text remains.

I don't get it. So how is Pam displaying hers in the forum post above?

Forum signature and page footer are 2 different things, Mira.

Use html code to create a forum signature in your personal settings.

I knew they were different but I thought they both worked the same. Thank you, Chef!
